Lovely spot at the Coconut Market for Thai and Chinese cuisine. Outdoor seating. Fast and attentive service. I had the black pepper chicken that was seasoned wonderfully and my wife had the walnut shrimp. Delicious spring rolls as a starter. If you are staying at Islander or near by they definitely are a must try.
Great vegan options and great service! The owner was so kind and explained all the options that were vegan. The kung pao tofu, spring rolls and lo mein/chow mein was really delicious! The garlic ginger tofu stir fry needed a bit more seasoning but was still very delicious. Vegan options aren't easy to come by in Kauai but this was a great place, so much so that I went twice during my vacation!
Drunken Noodle with Shrimp was very delicious. Spicy and tasty. A little more portions would have been welcomed for the price. Best Regards
We come here every time we are on the island and tell our friends to eat here when they are in Kapa'a because the Kauai shrimp in curry is absolutely delicious. We also get the pad see ew and wonton soup. They are fast and there's always a table outside. Several of them have umbrellas.
My wife and I came to eat here before exploring the surrounding marketplace. We got the Szechuan green beans with chicken, drunken noodles with beef, and Thai tea.
I usually get meat/rice dishes at Thai restaurants, but we decided to try something different with the green beans and actually enjoyed it a lot! Only a little spicy, and the green beans were firm with good bite to them. The drunken noodles were really good too, although not as spicy as I would have hoped for a 3/5.
As far as seating, we ordered in advance to skip the line and just sat at the outdoor seating next to the restaurant.
For the price, I think the portion sizes were reasonable, and would come here again!
This place deserves more than 4.1 stars! We stayed at a hotel right across the parking lot and ate here on our first night. It was so delicious that we came 2 more times after. The vegetable stir fry with chicken (make it spicy) and the drunken noodles with chicken were my favorite. My husband liked the kung pao chicken and pot stickers. This place is definitely worth trying and the portions and pricing were excellent. Our favorite place to eat the whole time we were on the island. The guy who works the counter at night is so friendly and helpful answering questions. 10/10 recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Even thou this is a market place this isn't a traditional store front. It's a small structure with outdoor seating. The food is prepared in short time. Great little hidden gem if you crave Thai or Chinese cuisine.

This spot was so good we had to return to it several times during our stay. The Curry was very good, and we recommend the Drunken Noodle dish - it was our favorite. There was enough shade from the trees to protect. Expect to enjoy your lunch with the feral chickens running about. We also ordered and brought food back to our room.
Got the seafood pineapple fried rice and the drunken noodles - delicious!!
Located in Coconut Marketplace.
This is our 2nd time in Kauai & we definitely needed to come back again.
Again, not disappointed with our food. Very good customer service as well. We had the Kauai shrimp curry, fried rice, orange chicken and a noodle dish - all fabulous tasting.
Would definitely visit again on our 3rd visit.
