Note: while this store has a Kuhio Hwy address, access is from the parallel street to the East, Inia, (one block closer to the ocean). It is between Kukui St, (First Hawaiian Bank), to the South and Kauwila St, (Hula Girl), to the North. They share the East facing side of the building with Thai Bar and Kauai Juice Company.
I have been there twice. Ambiance is near zero, you eat at a picnic table and from May to October, with no breeze that can be unpleasant. Get your food to go and take it the block to the ocean to eat, much nicer.
Food quality in my view is par. I took a visitor there once and they were so unhappy, I think it damaged our friendship. It is a bit pricey for what you get. On the other hand, if you are pining for vegan pizza or tacos, this is the spot.

This place is awesome! OMG their food is so freaking good. We came here 3 times while on the island for 5 days. The employees are nice and friendly, the food is delicious, the spot is cute. Really loved it here. We would go to Kauai Juice Co and then come here and have lunch. We ordered: Rainbow Burger, Rainbow Taco (2 times), and their Energy balls. We would definitely recommend all of those. Our favorite was the Rainbow Taco. Their portions are huge, so we always shared a plate. Put the Kauai Juice Co hot sauce on the taco and holy smokes, you can die a happy person!

GREAT food. I got the "burger" and she let me make substitutions without making a big deal out of it. The pesto was great. I am glad I said no marinera so I could really catch all the other flavors. My only suggestion would be for the burger to be a little drier either by less water or a little time in the dehydrator. The bread was great as was the presentation and portion size.
I wish they were open earlier in the morning to get stuff before heading out for the day, or at the end of the day to get dinner after a day of exploring or working.
I was surprised that the folks at the juice place next door had never been there. These are probably the healthiest two places on the island. Would be great if they worked together a bit.
Will definitely go back the next time I am on the island.

Amazing, thank you for inspiring us to eat more raw foods. Feeling great afterwards! Every dish we ordered was well done..specially the raw burger was just awesome. Our stay in Kauai was very healing thanks to Rainbow Living foods <3 MAHALO!

I hate giving a raw, vegan place less than 5 stars especially when the vegan options are very limited on the island. I just thought the food was okay. Husband had the burger and I had falafel. Very slow survive but can appreciate the time and effort that goes into preparing the food.

Amazing food. I'm vegetarian though not a fan of raw food. This place blew my mind and changed my perception of how raw food tastes. The smoothie and wrap was insanely good. Couldn't even tell it was all raw!

Tried the rainbow burger and the taco as well as the chai. All of them were delicious and made fresh to order. They have class and Sundays to learn raw food chef skills. Can't wait to eat here again :-)

Friendly service. A wonderful little spot to recharge. We ordered a little bit of everything it was all great! Made fresh & on Hawaiian time so bring a book or good company and enjoy it all. (Chocolate fans...the super food smoothie ROCKS!)

The main dishes, smoothies & desserts we ordered were all delicious! We may have had to wait a little while for them to be prepared, but not really any longer than any other sit-down restaurant. Considering everything was freshly made and vegan, I'd say the timing of the food was excellent! Might be tough with a large crowd, but for the two of us, it was perfect!

There was 1 person waiting when we walked in and ordered. We ordered a salad, a taco and a smoothie. About 40 minutes after we ordered, my girlfriends salad came out. At 50 minutes we went and reminded them we had ordered a smoothie, which they had forgotten. 55 minutes the smoothie and taco came out. Food was good but the wait was brutal...
