We got the tortang talong (eggplant omelet). It had peppers, onions, and green onions in it. It had good flavor, but I wish it had less of the eggplant skin. I got it with white rice, but after reading reviews, I realize I should’ve gotten it with the fried garlic rice. We also got the breakfast combo (first thing on the menu). It was really delicious! We subbed the pancake or waffle for the french toast, which was amazing. At $9 and $14, respectively, and $2 for coffee, it’s reasonably priced! Recommend!
Great little restaurant, portions were the perfect size and the price was very reasonable. On the morning we went, the cook didn’t show up so a woman (I am assuming was the owner) took our order and cooked it for us in less than 10 minutes. The omelet was delicious as was the seasonal fruit. “Tortang Talong” (eggplant omelette) - this is a type of eggplant omelet wherein grilled eggplants are soaked in a beaten egg mixture and then fried. This is a simple yet delicious Filipino recipe that you can enjoy for lunch or dinner. First meal in this beautiful state was a winner!
