Lava Lava Beach Club - Kapaa - Photo album

Best ocean views in the area. Eat morning breakfast and enjoy beachside dining. We got there too late for breakfast but had a chicken sandwich and fish tacos. The fish tacos had a layer of melted cheese in between the two tacos.
A great place to sit and relax. Connected to the Kapaa Shores Motel, this is a really beautiful place to have brunch! They have tons of outdoor seating right next to the ocean. Honestly, the avocado breakfast sandwich was okay. I don't love English muffins, so I don't want to be too critical. I di
Lunch was fantastic! The table being right on the waterfront was beautiful and we had a slight breeze that kept us cool. The staff was helpful and attentive. We tried 2 dishes Straight Up Burger: The burger used good quality meat and the bun was well toasted. Recommend the regular fries over the sw
Came here for dinner on Sunday and thought it was amazing! Had no wait time despite the place being decently packed. Drinks lived up to the hype. My wife got a lava flow and I got a Mai Tai (especially for the bamboo souvenir cup) and they both were tasty and plentiful that we didn’t need a second
Talk about beach side dining!!! Sand in your feet, ocean sounds and palm tree breezes. Great Food! Classic Breakfast, Avocado Breakfast Sandwich, Big Wave Burrito, Surf & Pig Omelet plus the Sweet Bread French Toast to share 😋
We ate here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (over several days) and we loved eating dinner there! The sunset was beautiful and the live music made the dinner dinning experience all the more fun! We also enjoyed eating breakfast on the beach. It’s not open in time for sunrise but when we went, there
Stopped here for a happy hour cocktail only. Beautiful beach view, live entertainment provided by a very talented young man and one of the best cocktails I've had (Coconut Mai Tai). Nice enjoyable afternoon break!
We love this place! We make sure to come every time we are in Hawaii. It has a great menu, nightly live music and the best views. I highly recommend the hook, line, and sinker -- it's always delicious.
This open-to-the-beach place is amazing. We liked it so much we came back twice. Food is delicious and service is good. The liquid happy hour is also great. There was live music starting at around 3pm when we went. I recommend the fish and chips, pizza flatbreads, and the Bamboo Pupu. All fantastic
Right on the ocean.. the views are great but the food is not excellent. We did go a couple of times though. The loaded tots in the picture were very good. The next time I had a burger which was kind of dry. Still with these views, I would recommend trying the place.
We had a wonderful time coming here! It is truly a beach front restaurant experience and it was lovely! The ambiance is relaxed & peacful plus you can hear the waves even with the noise of the restaurant! It is first come first serve so we came early (5pm) and had no wait to be seated. Our waitress
We stopped in for happy hour, were greeted by the friendly host and staff then enjoyed, beer wine and pizza while being serenaded by a local musician. Excellent location, food and service.
Great little club right on the beach. Prices are a bit steep but nothing you wouldn't expect for Hawaii. Spent a whole afternoon here sipping on drinks and eating snacks while watching the waves and the ubiquitous chickens roaming the island. Complementary valet parking and deck chairs right on th
I had high hopes for this place. Atmosphere and service were good but the food was bland imo. The fried rice served in the pineapple was a fun concept but it just lacked flavor. Seems like a popular place though, maybe I just got the wrong thing.
Really nice food and drinks and a great spot right on the water! It’s first come first serve so expect a bit of a wait! That said, they have a great selection of drinks and food. We particularly loved the pina colada and poke nachos (there are a few nacho options to consider)!
My daughter and I had a lovely dinner at Lava Lava last night. The setting is just amazing. There was a live musician who was singing all kinds of oldies with a hawaiian flair. Our only complaint was the food not being hot enough when it arrived to our table. Also, my daughter ordered the pinneapple
I read a few reviews that almost made us not come here but I’m happy to report this place is amazing! It’s right on the beach, has happy hour and live music from 3-5 and we were very happy with the mai tai, coconut sipper and chicken club Sammy served with fries. I would highly recommend this place
Wow! What a great find for breakfast! Part of a low key hotel, with views of the beach. Nice surfer/traditional Hawaiian architecture vibes. Sit outside if you can. We had the pancakes (delicious!) and the omelette with kalua pork (also delicious!) The coffee was ok.
