My favourite place on the island to shop for all my regular essentials. They are so well stocked and the prices are extremely fair. It’s so nice to be able to find items we usually use on this island. The staff are super helpful and friendly too. We went back to pick up snacks for our hike and that energy trail mix is 🔥

A great spot on the island of Kauai for some natural foods. Lots of the staple vegan, vegetarian, and organic options you don’t find at your neighborhood Walmart. I got a 4 pack of frozen Just Egg, a 6 pack of Beyond breakfast sausage, and 8 biscuits for $19. The condo were in has a full kitchen, so I made grits and fed 5 adults for $20😎

This is a wonderful store with amazing high quality collections. They have very good brands that focus on health and quality. Their pre-prepared food also tasted very well. Very optimal use of space. Parking is plenty and great location. Very well suited for vegetarians and vegans. Great selection of lentils, grains and spices.

Very nice place to shop for organic food items. At first I went to Safeway but they didn't really have a lot of options and Papaya's was perfect to find something healthy and delicious for dinner!

Loved Payaya's Food store!! We stayed right across the street from here and were SO happy with their selection & that it's a natural food store. There was fresh, local produce, household items, bulk items, and TONS of vegan and vegetarian options. There is also a section towards the back where you can grab fresh food- salad bar, wraps, menu for hot food. Everything we got was delicious & prices are relatively similar to the main stream grocery store in the next shopping center.

Wonderful store with a great variety of items. Food to go and reheat at home. Lots of vegan options. Vegan ice cream bars which were impossible to find at Safeway.

So nice to find a healthfood store on Kauai! I'd been looking for Vitamin A (to treat/prevent sunburn) without success, and this is the only store I was able to locate it in!

Good selection of organic groceries, produce and deli items. Prices are a little high, but I guess that is to be expected. We always had excellent customer service there from all the employees. They always opened a new checkout line when there were more than one or two people waiting.

My favorite healthy store on Kauai! Not very cheap (Nothing is on island) but the quality is outstanding! I sincerely hope they bring back the salad bar some day. I used to get that for lunch 3 times a week and it was SO good and not too expensive for a huge nutritious salad!

Excellent selection of local and national brands. Locally sourced foods, fruits, vegetables, honey, fish, taro burgers. Awesome salads and dressings made in house. Delicious smoothies: try the tahoni jade dragon green smoothie please! Hard working employees. Quick check out. Masks enforced.

Now in their new location, not far from their old digs. Lots of interesting specialty items for those on a restricted diet. Found some delicious desserts/snacks that are gluten-free, dairy-free, refined sugar-free. Yeah, they are pricey, but I'm glad that they are even available. Warm food section looked really good, but I didn't try anything this time. Glad that they are still around.

Open just six months at this location, the store is super clean and attractive. Fantastic selection of delicious produce, healthy vegan and vegetarian options and a wonderful salad bar. You can order food to go off a menu and have it prepared while you shop. Pop outside and you'll find a limited amount of comfortable seating where you can sit and enjoy your meal. Prices: expensive relative to the mainland but not as expensive as compared to other less impressive markets in Poipu, etc.

We feel so fortunate to have found this hidden gem, We are Vegans and it is very adequately stocked with everything we needed for a whole week. We got all of the vegan wraps, portabella burger, taro burger, and some even twice, each one so delicious we couldn't believe it. the Staff in the kitchen were Amazing ! Each time we went back there was a different person working just as nice and friendly as could be I would give 10 stars if it were possible. The flavors and the generous portions of each item were awesome The cost of the food is a little pricey but it's worth every penny, what you spend now on healthy food is better than what you will spend on doctor's visits and hospital bills and poor health. My only 1 complaint is they could use a little bit more seating outside because after you get you delicious food you can't wait to eat it and the 2 1/2 tables go fast.

Awesome! This little market packs a punch with its generous variety of absolutely everything on my gluten-free, vegan grocery list! Back home, in Poway, CA (Northeast San Diego County) I have to shop at FOUR different stores to get everything available at Papaya. Their deli is also a godsend. There is always something fresh and tasty to grab on the go. To top it off, everyone I've encountered at Papaya have been warm and friendly. A GREAT place that I am most grateful for when I travel to Kauai.
