Review Smith Family Garden Luau - Kapaa

What a wonderful time! Absolutely beautiful grounds (so much to see). Easy parking and a really lovely show. Also the best pork I've ever had! The staff are so friendly and kind. We came for my mother's birthday and they really pulled out all the stops for her! Really made her day! Also there's a great tram tour that picks you up when you arrive and guides you through the gardens, explaining the history, plant and animal life! 100% would recommend if you have a chance.

Smith Family Garden Luau is hands down the best luau I've experienced, and I'm a luau fanatic! The gardens are a testament to wild beauty, meticulously maintained, with chickens and birds adding to the enchanting atmosphere. The bountiful and delicious luau feast was a culinary delight, but it was the show that truly stole the spotlight. The performances, featuring dances from Hawaii and the Polynesians, wrapped the evening together seamlessly. A must for anyone seeking an authentic and unforgettable luau experience!

The Smith's family Luau was a surreal experience. Very lush and beautiful gardens. The entire atmosphere was welcoming and amazing. Loved how it was truly a family business. Great experience, food, and show! Highly highly recommend

We experienced Smith’s Luau on Friday Dec 1st. We have been to several Luaus on Oahu and Kona and this luau by far was the best. Everything was well organized and executed. The food choices were delicious and plentiful. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The location and grounds were well kept and beautiful. It is truly a garden paradise. The luau show was entertaining and just spectacular to watch. Our group of 7 truly enjoyed the evening and we will be recommending this venue to future visitors.

This was my first Luau and it was a great experience! The whole experience was super family-friendly and it had a very wholesome feel. The food was good and the performers were really talented! A lady we met said she's been to many Luau's and this one was her favorite. I definitely recommend it!

Best Luau we have attended. Best food served by Smith family members and great entertainment. We met "the" Mr. Smith, the patriarch, who was greeting guests from his wheelchair as they entered the dining area. He is a valiant veteran. Such an honor to visit with him. The grounds are beautiful & guests are treated to a narrated tram ride throughout the 30 acres.

We had a really good time here! The only thing that I would change would be the allotted time before dinner. I wish they would have let us in a little earlier so we had more time to explore the surrounding botanical garden before dinner was served and it became to dark to walk the grounds after that. (However, there's tons of people coming off multiple tourist busses all at the same time so I understand the struggle to get everyone in there early enough). Besides that though, the food was great and the show was so fun to watch! I was impressed by the stage set up and all the dances! Plus, of course, the fire dancers at the end was a great way to end the show in my opinion!

We had a very fun time here. The garden was absolutely beautiful and the atmosphere was very nice at night too. The food was great and the alcoholic drinks were delicious. The show was very fun to watch and had a variety of different dancing and music.

It was an authentic Hawaiian Luau with amazing service and food. Walking the gardens before dinner and seeing all the animals on the property made my family's day! The food and cocktail were delicious and authentic and gave us the best food we've ever had on the island. After dinner was the Golden People of Hawai show, and it was phenomenal. I highly recommend booking a table for this Luau, they are the best and deserve all the praise for it.

Family owned luau. Pretty neat property! Service was spectacular and the show was excellent. The food wasnt bad and there were a lot more people in attendance than what I expected. This is the 3rd Luau I've ever been to and definitely the most crowded.
