Pono Market - Kapaa - Photo album

We came here two times during our short 4-day visit to Kauai. There are many local Hawaiian dishes to choose from and the price was reasonable. It's conveniently located on the main street, so we typically stopped by to grab some food to go and we enjoyed the lunch during our hiking trips. Parking w
Beside the kickback atmosphere and the stellar chow, my wife and I go our marriage license there in 2016 which was crazy and 31 yrs later... never looked back, rock on Pono and Kappa'a beautiful place to be. Sentimental journey for us, still have a bumper sticker that says I got my marriage license
Who would have thought that you can get such amazing food in such an unsuspectingly looking place. My spicy ahi poke was DELICIOUS, my husband also loved his spicy scallops. On top of that, it was only 10$ each! You have to try this place when in Kapaa.
Best fish market on the island! Amazing quality fish, and great customer service. We bought enough fish from here that we were making our own poke bowls for lunch every day during our stay.
Stopped by for a rest and a cold treat while passing nearby on a coastal bike path. Pretty excellent every way you can look at it.
Amazing food and so friendly. Family run, definitely a must visit for authentic Hawaiian food at a good price. Baked salmon and poke was amazing.
Honestly, this is gourment dining on a diner's plate menu. The food is off the chart excellent. Yes, you are eating with plastic utensils and your food is in a box, but close your eyes and you would swear you were eating at a five star resort (minus the five star resort prices). Our meals were appro
Our favorite place to visit and have the spicy ahi tuna poke bowl. Just a small little shop but very nice people and good food. Just be aware this is a little deli style place. Grab-n-go. No place to sit but that's ok when we are driving around exploring. Take it to the park or beach or wherever.
Get there early for all the options! I only had time to go once while visiting and they were sold out of almost everything. The poke I got was unbelievably good so I’m sure the sold out items are well worth a few stops to Pono Market
This place is outstanding if you’re looking for authentic Hawaiian food. It was my fav place on the island and I just thought everything there was fantastic. I went back three times. The Mac salad is the best I’ve ever had. The poke is fantastic. The pies are great. This place is an absolute gem.
