Good drinks and great games! Go during your birthday to get 40 free tokens! After 9pm the place starts to get busy but it’s still manageable! The bartenders are amazing and friendly! I will be going back during the summer because it seems like they have great outdoor seating!
Too much fun! Great bartenders. Superb games a little bit of everything. Great crowd. Mixture of ages. Everybody is having fun. PROTIP: go there on your birthday and get 40 free tokens.
Visited from out of town and had a blast!! Went twice while I was in town and on one of the days received free tokens!! Fun selection of nostalgic games to play alone or with friends. Small upstairs area with mostly pinball machines and a few more arcade games. All of the drinks were great and v
There’s an up down near where we live and it’s a little bigger than this one but this one still maintains that nice vibe and they have lots of fun things to do. It was very nice to spend a few hours here playing arcades. The Thursday coin special is amazing if you’re mostly here for the games
My family and I made a fun Sunday night trip out now that the whole bunch is 21 and over and had a great time.. Sundays host a 6 beer with 80 tokens in a fanny pack for $25 deal which was perfect for us . We played all of our classic favorite games and enjoyed really great pizza (huge slices of pizz
I occasionally take a walk over when I'm (mostly) by myself yet want to be *around* other people. I've yet to be at another bar that meets that criteria in addition to not feeling an awkward loss for 'what to do' at the same time. Definitely have made a lot of fond ̶m̶e̶m̶o̶r̶i̶e̶s̶ weird stories.
Classic old school games!!! Me and some friends had a great Saturday afternoon at Up Down. Service is good, ski ball is the best. Had a great MK2 battle with a friend. Really brought back the memories. Drink prices were good. I wish more cities had a place like up down KC!
Perfect place for a few drinks and to chill for an evening. Loads of arcade games to play this is a really fun bar with huge slices of pizza and other foods served until late.
Such a fun place. Tokens are cheap and they have plenty of deals on drinks! They have soft drinks as well. Definitely will be coming often. Friendly staff as well!
Bar and arcade with lots of old school games. 21 and older. Games are a quarter. On Thursday they are 10 cents. They have specials for each night
Great place to grab good drinks and enjoy classic arcade games. The drinks were reasonably priced and I spent less on drinks than I have at any other bar. You may occasionally run into the issue of people staying on one cabinet for long periods of time, though. Also, I would be careful with the Punc
The vibes here are immaculate. Came around 5 PM on a Saturday (in the Winter) and it was PACKED. Get here early! Tokens are pretty cheap, drinks are tasty, staff is great. Might have to wait to play games, otherwise it’s pretty chill in here. Definitely coming back for patio season :)
Already love the atmosphere, mac and cheese pizza, and the machines here are so cool, but wanted to give a special shout-out to James! He gave us the best customer service last night with troubleshooting a coin eating pinball machine, and sharp and attentive to his job throughout the night. Super ni
Great drinks! Overall, a lot of fun! Definitely appreciated the free tokens that we received as a part of the daily special. $2 pizza on Fridays until 8pm! And the slices were huge and delicious!
It's really fun and full of nostalgia for those who remember arcades. There is never much of a wait at the bar for drinks and the pizza🍕 is always tasty. Of course, it helps when you have been drinking a little already, but I'm sure it tastes just fine sober 😆
Didn't eat. But lots of people there for such a cold night. It's cheap to play the games. The drinks are a tad on the high side but worth it. Great place for a first date.
Back when I had first dates, this was my first date spot. It has everything you need. Dinner, drinks, skee-ball to impress my date with. Now that I hopefully don't have to go on first dates anymore, it is a chill night out with my boyfriend. And yeah it gets a little crowded on days like Valentine's
Came to the Up Down for the first time last night, and it won’t be my last. So much fun! I love how they have a beverage cart with canned drinks to avoid a line at the bar. Very reasonably priced, too. Tokens were inexpensive for what you get. We played Skee-Ball, basketball, pinball, Tetris, drivin
I went to Up-Down on a crowded Saturday night. I got groped by a stranger, and proceeded to yell at him until he scurried away. Before I could even finish telling my husband what just happened, the bar staff came up to me to ask who it was and went to check the security footage. What felt like secon
