Danny's has been far and away our go to place in Kansas City for great live music, great food (usually a fried shrimp plate with a side or similar, since arriving post 9pm when the music and vibe is fantastic!). It's the one place where Santana, Stevie and Motown, "Brick House" and similar good funk
I'm from New York and this place surprised me. The blues band was off the chain and the chicken was the best I've eaten in a longtime. I even met Johnny Taylors son!
They have live entertainment 3 days a week and gives local talent a chance once a week its really a great place for jazz
Every night of the week it has a different feel. The weekends are the best for a good time and some live music, with the BEST customer service EVERY NIGHT! !! Food is great, drinks are generous!
Had the buffet. I had fried fish, candied yams & greens, all of which were full of great flavor! Very tasty, with a Creole flair!
I've been there several times and the food is always delicious, waitress is very attentive and the atmosphere is laid back. Great lunch buffet!
