Review Mcfadden's Sports Saloon - Kansas City

Visiting the state of Missouri Downtown at the McFadden Sports Saloon was an exciting and great atmosphere to watch your favorite college football "Go Frogs." I had great burger, fries and happy hour drink. It was great service. My first to the state. First time at the stadium to watch and support Texan Patrick Mahomes,Kansas City Chiefs.

I had the 🐔 & Bliss. Believe it or not, I have never tried chicken & waffles before. The presentation was amazing. It looked like a contemporary art exhibit. The chicken strips were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Yummy! The 🧇 was perfectly browned and large enough to complement the 🐔. The lemonade was delicious as well. The restaurant was truly capacious with two levels. The tables were equally spaced. There were at least 2 entry and exit points. There were various 📺 screens tuned to sports, of course. My server Destiny was great. She kept the lemonade flowing and inquired about the taste of my meal. She even expressed interest in my hobby and shared a bit about herself. Destiny was kind and perceptive.

Has to be one of the best places in town to catch watch football. Pregamed the a Chiefs game at the patio which has a large screen and plenty of heaters to stay warm. Inside service was a bit slow… 🏈

Excellent spot for grabbing a bite to eat or just hanging out bartender was excellent as was Elena. Can't wait to visit again when back in KC!

Wings and strips. Tastes were good for the chickens. I think they need more than just 3 little strips though for the price of $9.95.

We came to enjoy the divisional playoff game at power and light. We've been here many times before over the years and continue to pick this sports saloon as one of our favorite. The service is pretty good and there is more room to walk between booths and tables is better than the others in this area. The food is pretty decent and they consistently make good drinks. It's a great spot to meet during the week as well. Large booths allow you to have plenty of room with several friends.

Food was amazing!!! We had BBQ burger and BBQ slides with fries and tots - all delicious! Drinks were good too, and the bartenders friendly!

Loved this place! You have to try the Reuben, it's one of the best I've ever had. I spent most of the day here for march madness opening weekend with some friends. The staff was great, fast, and friendly, and the atmosphere was top notch.

The service from the bartender was horrible. We were required to start a tab even though we were just sitting at the bar for a quick lunch before we headed back to work. And one person in our party was asked to provide a card even though he told the bartender he wanted to pay with cash. He was charged on his card anyway. To top it off the food was average. Won't be in a hurry to go back, especially with Johnny's Tavern about 20 feet away.

Not a good experience. Two people at our table didn’t receive the food they ordered. One was told they were out of chicken tenders & there was no excuse for the other. Both had to leave without eating. The cobb salad showed up to our table without chicken and avocado. The bleu cheese dressing was runny and bubbly. Weird. The boneless chicken wings were tiny, cold & dry. Service was slow. Staff seemed inconvenienced. Third & last time I give this place a chance.

Watched sports for several hours at McFaddens and recieved great service. Ordered the pretzels and it was delicious and inexpensive. Would definitely go back.

We stopped in before an event at the Sprint Center. The food was very good, not expensive and they had some different choices from the regular bar food. Try the Irish Nachos and cheesecake.

To preface; we only went for a drink and appetizer before a show at the Sprint Center, however, the service was horrifying. I will say, our housemade pretzel appetizer and draught beer were delicious. We happened to be there at a time where appetizers were half price so yay us! But $10 for a beer...really? Being in this place for ten minutes made me want a Prozac. The wait staff doesn't smile, nor did the hostess. I felt like an attendee at Great Aunt Ida's funeral. Awkward! Our waitress had the personality of a gnat. My husband asked what beers they had on tap and you would have thought you asked her to recite the preamble to the constitution. My advice; go to the Cashew. Better food, cheaper drinks and servers who are able to carry on a conversation.

They don't seem to have a problem with.... Worst experience ever! It was my first time there and it will DEFINITELY be the last! I experienced blatant racism with a party of 11 and the management was more concerned about his waitress being "offended" by me bringing it to his attention. Instead of addressing the ISSUE, he was more upset with me "shaking my head" and my "tone". We had a mixed group of black and white and the waitress made it a point to ask ALL the blacks to pay for drinks and appetizers as they ordered them. I wasn't asked to pay until the end and could get as many drinks as I asked for without question. I waited until we were all ready to go and I brought it up to the manager. He proceeded to tell me the waitress had an "African American boyfriend". M'kayyyy? And? It was at this point in the conversation that I could see he wasn't listening and I was visibly aggravated and that would be when he pointed out my "head shaking" and my "tone". I will NEVER go back and neither will the other 10 HE offended.

Acoustics will kill you and remembered nothing about the food 10 minutes after walking out. Like being packed in a metal drum with a bunch of screeching monkeys. service so-so-not-so.

McFadden’s is probably the best sports bar (not that I’ve been to many) that I’ve ever been in. They have a guy there whose sole job is to play loud music during commercials to maintain the energy. In addition to all of the flat screens throughout the bar, they’ve got this huge screen in the middle. The food prices are pretty reasonable too. Brian and I got plenty of food for a lot less than what breakfast cost at Lilly’s just a few hours prior. And, we had a really pretty server to boot. I really liked McFadden’s. I definitely wouldn’t mind eating there if we find ourselves in the Power & Light area again. The problem with McFadden's on St Patrick's Day is that it attracts the kind of people who will lean their drunken face into your personal space and unashamedly ask if they can have one of your fries. Other than that, and the blasting music (none of which

The best part about weddings is catching up with old friends. Last weekend, we celebrated Charlie and Jacquie Stenger's wedding day in Kansas City. I was so excited to see one of my best friends, Jolene. The trip started off well with an upgrade to First Class! Yes! Jolene picked us up and we went to meet some friends (Mark, Hannah, Kevin and Laney) at The Cashew . The Cashew has a good liquor selection and a fun atmosphere for drinks. The next morning we realized we had a little to much fun at the bars so we needed some brunch before the wedding. We went to The Farmhouse based on a recommendation from a woman on my flight. The Farmhouse is a super cute spot and has great artwork. Don't order the biscuits and gravy... they tasted like raw flour. My eggs Benedict were good, but the eggs were overdone. We were off to the wedding after filling our tummies. We took a break on the way to the reception and stopped by McFadden's for a beer. I couldn't leave KC without a Boulevard Wheat:) Afte
