You have to try this place!! This is bbq at it's best. I had the burnt end sandwich - melted in my mouth! It was so tender and cooked to perfection. I also had the chips. SO much better than any other restaurant. They were fresh and obviously home made. I think I found my favorite restaurant in Kansas City :-)
Might be the best I’ve had! Shared some ribs and had brisket. Both were excellent!
Wow. Luther's was awesome! This is a must stop in Fort Scott. Good selection of beer, the bbq tacos were incredible. I had them with pulled pork, homemade tortillas, the sauce was a little spicy but so good. And this Mac and Cheese. Let me tell you I am something of a Mac and cheese connoisseur and this stuff ranks high! Husband had burnt ends and the potato salad - "this is how potato salad is supposed to taste." The table shared deviled eggs and brussel sprouts as apps which were also great. Again, highly recommend.
What a find! We both had the Two of a Kind Tuesday special. The barbecue here was amazing, our server (Kristi P) was amazing and the restaurant was super clean. As full-time travelers we love discovering places like this. We will be back on our next trip!
Smoked chicken was some of the most smokiest delicious meat. Great ambiance in old building. Outdoor seating available. Would have been better if could choose any meat for a one-meat plate instead of just brisket. Long wait for lunch.
The food is amazing! They have a sampler one as well. Which was delicious but unfortunately I didn’t snap a picture of it. Their sauce is excellent. Give it a try.
Very flavorful and unique. Tried the brisket, burnt ends, and pork belly. All were good but the pork belly was the best. Potato salad was different than I had tried before and good. Service was top notch. Only detraction was meat was a little cool. Still would definitely recommend and come back.
Stopped in for lunch. Was greeted by a friendly host and sat right away. Tried their pulled pork sandwich and fries. Was delicious!
I'm down in Fort Scott for sales calls all day and my earlier appointment happened to be the owner of Luther's BBQ! What are the odds...getting paid to spend the day meeting new awesome people and eating my favorite food. I'm blessed.
Guys... seriously. The burnt ends. Jack stack was the best but now we have a new winner! If you find yourself in Fort Scott or just passing through do yourself a favor and try the Burnt End platter at Luther's! 🤯😍.
Omg the burnt ends are AMAZING! The texture and flavor had me clean my plate (and maybe my husbands plate as well)! The ribs were flavorful and I washed it all down with a Boulevard. Great times with great family!
Good food and atmosphere. My meal had pulled pork, brisket & onion lassos and his had pulled pork, sausage & baked beans. He didn't care for the beans but I thought they were good.
Food is always good. Impressive menu. Service was a little slow today. (Photo is pastrami burnt ends with tots.)
