Had a very unique dining experience here, we went on a very chill day, around 4pm on a Thursday and had the place pretty much all to ourselves for a while which was really cool. I didn’t realize how spacious the restaurant was, there were so many seating areas. Their menu was a designed to be shareable and our server was very upfront about the size of the dishes so we knew beforehand that the serving sizes were relatively small. We ordered 5 plates which was a perfect amount of food for 2 people. We got to try the steak tartare, which tasted really fresh, I thought the application of the egg yolk piped on top was very artsy. We also liked how fresh the smoked beets dish was, it paired perfectly with the ricotta and sweet black grapes. The crispy pork ribs were cooked to perfection, it wasn’t saucy per se but you could taste the bold flavour of the fish sauce marinade in each bite. So on to our two favourite dishes of the night; the pumpkin agnolotti and the seaweed donuts. Both were quite the culinary experience and shouldn’t be skipped. The trout roe cream was so fun to enjoy with the funky slightly sweet donuts which were unbelievably pillowy soft. The pumpkin pasta was perfectly el dente and the miso butter pine cut combination made it an adventure. One con was that I did feel that $36 for a small bowl of pasta was very expensive. In fact, quite a few of the dishes were priced too high considering portion size but the quality made up for it. We were tempted to order a 6th plate for dessert but we were stuffed after the dining experience.

Enjoyed every bite here! The vibe was great, the service was perfect and every dish was delicious! The fried chicken might have been the best I've had, but the seaweed donuts are a must too!

The dark modern interior creates a stylish and sophisticated ambiance that is truly captivating. The shareable menu offers a delightful array of dishes that are perfect for enjoying with friends and family. The cocktails are another highlight, beautifully crafted and expertly mixed to tantalize your taste buds. But what truly sets Corvino apart is the outstanding service. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about providing a memorable dining experience.

We had a wonderful dinner experience at the Supper Club with friends. The bill was steep, but we knew what we were signing up for, and it was worth every penny. There was an excellent pianist and the service was top notch. You absolutely must get the fried chicken. You won't be disappointed.

Food was good but not great. The Bolognese was however, outstanding. The rest of the food was as good as you would get in most places for about double the price. Fish was equivalent to a Midwestern fish fry for about triple the cost. So good but the value was not there for me.

Incredible. Best meal I've had in awhile. So unique, everything you get will blow your mind. The ribeye was so tender and juicy. Perfection. This is a must go in KC. We went in and just grabbed a seat at the bar and ordered all of our entrees with the bartender. The live music addition just perfects the atmosphere!

Cocktails were fabulous. Staff was kind and helpful. Piano music was nice but hard to hear over the noise of all the people talking. We only had drinks. Before tip our total was $66 for 4 drinks. Overall, lovely experience!

We dined in the tasting room for V day. Our second experience here. Again the dishes and bites were incredible overall! We loved the “snacks” - especially the oyster. The only reason for four stars was the slow drink service. We ordered off the menu. We wanted red wine to go with the final main course but it came after. We ordered coffee to go with our dessert, but we were done before it ever came.

The Titanic theme was neat. I had the vegetarian courses and loved most of them! Favorite dish was the hen of the woods with preserved lime - they complimented each other well. I recommend this place more to folks who enjoy alcohol on the regular, it's not my cup of tea but the rest of our group loved it. Skits were hit or miss but most of them seemed to enjoy performing which matters more to me personally. If anything, I think the restaurant could've gone a little further with the decor!

We ate in the supper club and tried a bit of everything! Our personal favorite was the fried chicken and pork ribs and the broccoli! We had a great meal and can’t wait to go back!

Corvino was high on our list of places to try and it did not disappoint. The ambiance was romantic. The dimly lit restaurant was busy on a Saturday night and the live music was just wonderful. We went through a few things to eat and basically all of it is shareable. The branzino was flaky, light, and flavorful. The marinated beets with ricotta and barley crackers was one of my favorites. The scallop toastada was fresh and had a kick to it. The menu is eclectic and full of variety. We would definitely go back for date night.

Completely worth the hype. The seaweed donuts are worth trying just to see if your taste buds are aligned with those of the New York Times’ staff. Adult candy is one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had in my life. The bartender poured a perfect ratio that wasn’t too sweet or bitter. The lamb roasted pasta could be the best thing on the menu but the whipped tofu in the Chinese broccoli is also worth the experience. Topped the night off with the apple pie and had 0 regrets. Even with the water main broken downtown, this restaurant provided world-class service, quality, and ambiance without missing a beat.

An amazing restaurant for date night and dinner parties. We enjoyed all the delicious food and drinks, paired with live music. Food wise: We had the Seaweed Donuts (similar to beignets, served with whipped butter and roe); Crispy Pork Ribs (MUST-HAVE!), XO Fried Rice and Spicy Strozzapreti. I would recommend the first three and can skip the last pasta dish if you're not a fan of kimchi.

This place was so classy and cozy, perfect for a date night! They had a live pianist that added to the overall atmosphere. The food was unique and delicious! Nothing you order comes out the way you might think it will, but it’s still delicious. The mocktails were also yummy!

This is a bright spot in the culinary landscape of Kansas City. I took a rare opportunity to take myself to dinner on a whim, and everything was perfect. I sat at the bar and watched the show in the kitchen. Everything was perfectly orchestrated and executed...there was a little Bourdain moment about it. Some reviewers have commented that the menu seems odd, pretentious, or disjointed. I found it to be the opposite. Everything was very purposeful and simple. Each flavor stood on its own, while complimenting its food-friends. The West Coast oysters were small, plump, and buttery. The Summer Squash with ramp vinaigrette, nasturtium, and pink peppercorn was ridiculously good. Each little piece of squash was better than the next (que Remy from Ratatouille). The Chinese Broccoli with Garlic Crunch and Whipped Tofu was so simple, yet SO amazing! And then, there is the Whole Branzino...de-boned, stuffed with anchovies, dill and other fresh herbs, green and dried black olives, and capers...then tempura battered and fried. This was a perfect dish. Simply a perfect dish. Watching the diners next to me, the Ricotta and Peas looked amazing...a seasonal offering that they specifically came in for. They inhaled the fried chicken like none other, and the Maitake Mushroom with smoked hummus, fava beans, wild herbs, and preserved lemons did not last long with them either. To the other side of me, they raved about the Gnocchi Bolognese (which, i am glad they did, as I have an issue with meat sauce on Gnocchi in general). Both groups had the little pillows that were the Seawood Donuts with Trout Roe & Cream. One group had the Rock Shrimp Toast with Whipped Chicken Liver and the other had the House Fries with Smoked Malt Aioli. Not a crumb was wasted and they all left smiling and happy. My only culinary regret is that I did not order the Ricotta & Peas as well...hopefully it will still be there when I return. ***NOTE: went back the next week with my daughter...sat at the bar again.. and got the peas...definitely worth the second trip. The bar staff was excellent. Chris and the team were able to read the room well. They left me alone or engaged with me at appropriate times. Their recommendations were on point and they were very seamless in their interactions with one another and the other guests. This is not a place to go gorge yourself on one giant dish because that is the American way. Some dishes are larger than others...this is with intent. This a restaurant that cares about the quality, the presentation, and the freshness of the food and drinks they are serving, and it shows. Slow down, take time to appreciate things, and enjoy the little surprises in life. This is Corvino Supper Club.
