One of my favorite restaurants in KC. The crab Rangoon is easily the best I’ve ever had!! Everything is very reasonably priced and has generous portions.

I was looking for a place with Vietnamese food and I drove 40 minutes to come here, they speak Vietnamese, are VERY nice, the food was like it was cooked by my grandma. (I had Bun Bo Hue and my girlfriend had the Pho Bo [Beef], we also ordered the Deep Fried Tofu)
It was a very peaceful eat and very tasty I would 110% come back and recommend it. Portions were great and price is normal for what you get. 🫣😫

Portion sizes were smaller than what I anticipated from other pho places I’ve been to, however pho broth was super tasty! Deep fried shrimp was good however totally thought they were going to be the skewered shrimp for the price and description of it! Still the shrimp were crunchy and sauce was good!

The food is great (I'm a vermicelli kinda gal)! I love the River Market area and used to frequent Hien Vuong when I was much younger (maybe 15+ years ago). And the food is still just as wonderfully amazing as I remember. Wish I still lived closer to have an excuse to go there more often. 100% recommend if ever in the area. ((The only real negative for me is that the woman who runs (and has run) the shop always seems irritated/angry but that could just be me))

Fantastic chicken and vegetable soup dumplings in broth! Comes with a side of cilantro/mint and sprouts. Hearty, filling and so warming!

I was recently introduced to Vietnamese food and now I honestly wonder why I waited so long to try it. The Pho here is absolutely amazing. This place is one of just a handful I feel comfortable taking out of town friends and family to when they are visiting. A true hidden gem for Kansas City.

Always a treat to eat here. The small family owned restaurant offers a wide variety of pho, rice, and noodle dishes. Personally, I'm a fan of the beef pho (13c - big bowl).
The owners are endearing and go over the top to please. The food is great, well priced, and filling - especially on a cold day.
