The Homesteader Cafe - Kansas City - Photo album

We went on a Saturday at last minute and figured it would be busy. It was. On our way to the location we reserved a table and it gave a 45 minute wait as 5 parties were ahead of us. Once arrived, we actually only waited about 25 minutes. Our server was Angie and she was very efficient, friendly
Stop reading the menu and just order a Biscuit Board. You're welcome. Great place!!! Love the high ceilings, open-acoustics feel with artsy & rustic decor. Wouldn't recommend the bloody Mary, not the world's best but the food is top notch. They really have something good going on here - please go su
The Homesteader Café is conveniently located downtown Kansas City. I visited for breakfast and was greeted with a warm reception by staff and such a quant environment with thought-provoking saying (I believe are from loved ones of the owners) sprinkled throughout its space. The owner, Megan, was in
Best chicken & waffles! We thoroughly enjoyed the food. The service was kind but slow. We waited 30 minutes for seats but we also came Sunday during peak hours. We felt that the portions weren’t as large as other brunch spots we’ve been but overall great place for brunch!
This is a great local spot for brunch. The food and service were both great. I dined here with Instagram’s start_small_things who loves and supports small businesses like this one. She loved the chocolate filled beignets. Try the fall pig for a delicious sandwich.
Service was tops! Vibe was super cool. My chilaquiles were blah- black beans not cooked fully and lack of flavor. Baked Brie was delicious! Highly recommended. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️. The flight of mimosas were good yet majorly overpriced.
Made a reservation for a bday brunch on a Saturday and the experience was great. Our server was nice and the food was good. I tried the peach chipotle wings were lacking flavor, the sauce could have been so much better! The mimosas were good & I appreciated them bringing the champagne & orange juice
This place is very trendy and a great atmosphere to hangout. The food is great, the staff is very attentive. I recommend this place to anyone who loves to experience obscure cool places.
Great place, good, open atmosphere and good people, excellent service, and awesome menu. We breakfast here regularly and recently stopped in for dinner. First time, so I can only speak to the Cajun Chicken Pasta, and the carrot cake for dessert--both were excellent. Highly recommend!
My mother and I went here for brunch. I got the chicken and waffles and she got a macaroni bowl. We had baked brie for an appetizer and a pitcher of Bloody Marys. Everything was amazing and I'll definitely be wanting to return soon!
1st time here. Was busy when we arrived. The menu is great if you're looking for a brunch variety. Service was friendly and homelike, Cafe feel. Food came out fast. Only gave 4 on food being sausage, and potatoes were a little overcooked, otherwise very delicious, especially the bacon, which was ph
Stopped and had breakfast. My wife and I shared a cinnamon roll. I had the breakfast burrito and my wife had the French toast. We also tried the biscuits and gravy. Good was good, service was great. If you get there after 10 am, get a reservation. We highly recommend them! Good stuff!
This was my daughter and my first stop after landing in KC for a visit. The food was phenomenal but the service was what made this place stand out. The server was friendly and went above and beyond. Thanks for the warmest welcome to your city 😊
This place wasn't too far from our hotel and we decided to give this place a try for an early breakfast. Very clean and friendly service! The food was good and displayed beautifully. We weren't a fan of the cheesy biscuits and gravy, as we are normally use to the traditional kind. But overall, this
