Amazing! This was our first time to KC and we choose Em chamas because of the Groupon over other another Brazilian grill restaurant. The service was amazing and we were even offered a free dessert since it was our one year anniversary. I was highly impressed and will surely be back! Thank you for the amazing experience!

They really took care of us for our anniversary. We got a table right by the fireplace on a very cold night and they even gave us each a piece of free dessert (both of which were wonderful). The food was great. Excellent service.
My wife and I had an amazing time. Our waitress Jessica and all the servers did an amazing job at making sure everything was to our satisfaction. I'd also like to say that the manager did an amazing job at making sure everything ran smoothly and was to our liking as well. Food was awesome. Overall an amazing experience. I will definitely recommend and come again.

Great experience, took my husband here for a surprise dinner and he loved it. He’s a meat man so this hit the spot. We both enjoyed the cold bar (course 1) but the meats topped it. The owner even came around to check on us. Great service all the way around will be back.
This the most amazing fine dinning in the the Northland. Food is always delicious. Staff is always attentive. Management is classy. I wish I could afford to eat here more often, but this is always first choice for any special occasion. If you haven't been, I highly recommend. It is worth every penny.

Went with a party of 3 (including a toddler) on a Monday night and had a great overall experience. The service was top-notch; we felt well taken care of, and our host was attentive and made sure all our needs were promptly addressed.
When it comes to the food, the cold buffet impressed us with its variety. There were several kinds of salads, an array of dressings, and tasty toppings to choose from. The hot buffet also offered a reasonable selection, and our toddler particularly enjoyed the pasta. The red meats were a highlight, offering a delicious taste and quality.
However, there was one drawback--the chicken. Unfortunately, it was very dry and lacked the juiciness we expected. It's possible they overcooked it or perhaps it dried out on the skewer, but it was a bit of a letdown.
On a brighter note, their housemade lemonade was a delightful refreshment, and it complemented our meal perfectly.
As for the ambiance, we dined at 6 pm on a Monday night, and it was just what we were hoping for- a relaxed and comfortable setting that allowed us to enjoy our meal and each other's company. :)
Nice place to get great food. Expensive so not a place to go often but well worth a special occasion. Took my wife here for her birthday and she was pleased
My husband and I try to go every anniversary. It is our absolute favorite place to dine. The food is perfectly executed every time! And service is phenomenal!
We love everything about this place. Such a great experience trying lots of different meats with a decent salad bar. The flavors are amazing and cooked perfectly. Low light setting with friendly staff. All you can eat in a very elegant serving presentation.
They give you small tongs to pull your meat away as they cut it in front of you. Reservations online is the way to go.
Super tasty place! Also, did you know that they have a lounge/bar area where you can order a mixed plate of delicious options! It’s our favorite place to sit, and it’s a little more normal size meal.. They also have a happy hour menu that is half off! 😁
We went to Em Chamas for a date for Valentine's Day and had no idea what it was going to be like. My parents raved about eating here but even that didn't do it justice...and my review won't do it justice either! This was the most amazing experience with glorious food and excellent service that I have had in the United States. Endless meat and sides...the meat was just as rare as we asked for and the flavor was unbelievable. I loved all the sides and all the meats. No complaints...it was all delicious.
The Valentine's Day dessert was also exquisite. It's pricey but I wouldn't expectal you can eat expensive cuts of meat to be affordable. We will be back for another special occasion for sure!We had the owner come by our table and we let him know how much we enjoyed it. He was friendly and gracious! Highly highly recommend this place!
We had our 1yr anniversary dinner here and it did not dissapoint. It is a little pricey but the volume of food (hot & cold bar) and being able to try 6+ different grilled items was fun and quite delicious! Will eat here again for special occasions.
Our first time back in 3 years to the day. For the last 11 years This has always been our go to place for anniversaries, birthdays, and graduations. They are back to the original ways of Em Chamas. The food was amazing, the staff were so friendly and it was warm and inviting. The dessert was so good. She got the tres leche cake and I got the passion fruit. The grilled pineapple is a must have, like a piece of candy for every bit. The house special meat is my favorite and they always seem to have the perfect medium cooked for me.
In the 3 year absence because of the pandemic, and with the changes Em Chamas was doing with the meat service, we have gone to other restaurants for our events but they always felt off. We said last night at dinner for a birthday it felt like “home”. We’ve missed Em Chamas of old and are so happy to be able to come back for many more events.
Everything about our experience was awesome. I had only eaten there one time many years ago and we typically go to the other Brazilian restaurant but our experience there has been horrible for the last 4 years. A friend recommended Em Chamas so on my 50th birthday we booked a reservation and I was blown away by the service. The meat selection was amazing. My wife, who is a vegan found plenty of food on the marketplace buffet and they also made her a special vegan pasta dish from the kitchen. This will definitely be our go-to place moving forward. Awesome job.
First time there, and it was an amazing experience. Price was less expensive than another Brazilian steakhouse in the metro. It does give a veteran discount but could be better than 10% for one meal.
Family took me to Em Chamas for my birthday dinner. The food was delicious and service was impeccable. I didn't know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised!The meats are deliciously prepared and there are ample salad and side bars to accompany the meats or to serve as a meal in themselves. I will be back when I am in the KC area again.
This restaurant is my new favorite. The side buffet is alone phenomenal. Add unlimited meat served to you on top of that? Brilliant.
It's all good a little expensive $65. But excellent food and service. Good parking. It was just the 2 of us but I saw 1 tablet of 14$$$$

We were in last weekend (12/8/23) for a bachelorette dinner, while the food was amazing (our table loved the “cheesy steak”), the service was AMAZING. While in the restaurant one of our friends had a medical emergency, Steffan noticed and ran to her rescue, grabbed a phone and called 911. He stayed by her side until the fire department showed up, went to check on his tables and came back to check on us. While our friend was ok, we can’t thank Steffan enough for his alertness and eagerness to jump in and help a stranger. We are so very grateful and wish Steffan and the rest of the staff there that night the best. You all deserve it!
I’m a carnivore so this place hits the spot! A constant rotation of servers stop by the table and slice off a portion of meat right onto my plate. I skip the meats I don’t like, and get multiple portions of the ones I love. Perfect! My favorite is the flank steak because it has a strong smoky, salty, and beefy flavor. And also I love the provolone-infused sirloin. Soooooo good! I don’t normally like ham, but the ham here is AMAZING cuz it has a caramelized honey glaze!!! Don’t waste your time (and room in your belly) on the salad and veggies…go straight to the meat! If you’ve got room towards the end, the Brazilian cheese balls are a nice finish.
