Going to miss y'all. Loved making my little smokey sliders. Brisket, turkey, fried green beans for crunch, your roll & sauce made the perfect end to a 2 meat combo. Best of luck to everyone there after the close tomorrow. Glad I randomly stopped in today! Tried the 3 meat today, and although delicious, Simecas sausage is too powerful a flavor for any amount of smoke to change.

Ribs were great. Briscket was dry, no fat was the culprit. The seasoning in the Italian sausage over powers the smoke flavor. The deviled eggs are phenomenal. Like the big fries. Service was great

We are from Indiana and thought we knew BBQ. Surprise!!!! We had no clue until we stopped here!!! Smoked Meatloaf was a real treat!!!! Ordered a side of it and the Big Gun Platter. Wow what a great amount of food!!! Guy Fieri stopped here and we know why. Righteous BBQ!!! Awards all over the place and well deserved. Good thing they are not in our backyard, or I would be there every day!!!!

I know BBQ in KC is a tough business. Smokin' Guns just north of the river gives it a good go. The place was moderately busy, and we ordered a couple of 2-meat sandwiches and told the waitress to pick her favorite meats and sides. We ordered some deviled eggs to start - just because . . well, who puts deviled eggs on their menu if they're not special? Sorry, they weren't. Run-of-the-mill deviled eggs sprinkled and rolled in a bit of bbq rub. Not bad, but they could do so much better with those. For our meal, we were brought brisket and pulled pork sandwiches along with potatoes and beans. The sides were outstanding. Great beans! The sandwiches were piled high and were good, but a bit dry - especially the brisket, and they chose a standard hamburger bun which doesn't do much to set them apart. Both meats were very well cooked with a nice smoky flavor. Their sauce was a little sweet for my taste, but was good nonetheless. They chose a pickle spear instead of slices for the garnish - which makes it hard to add pickle to your sandwich! All in all, the meal was good, and the staff was prompt and courteous. Could be great with a little TLC, but certainly worth a try.

Had a little bit of everything here after seeing it on Diners Drive-ins and Dives. My favorites were the burnt ends, pepper poppers, fried green beans, and corn nuggets. All the sides are great. The spicy sauce is not very spicy but it has that little extra something that makea it good.

My sister heard from a co-worker that Smokin' Guns was great and had to try it, so we went with another friend. we got 1.5lbs of ribs, pulled pork and burnt ends! each meat dish we ordered came with 2 sides ( great side selections and lots to choose from ) we choose sweet potato fries, Mac and cheese bites, steak fries, fried green beans, sweet corn bites and mini mozzarella sticks; each at a set-price of $2.50, so I thought that was cool and fairly priced. their ranch dipping sauce is thick and so, so delicious! BBQ sauce is a little spicy; just the way we like it! Very good food! Diner-like setting for indoor eating and on our way out ( since we ordered to go; which only took 15 minutes to prepare for ALL that food!! ) I noticed they also have rooftop dining!!! great space, great staff and even greater food!!! I loved it and I'm recommending it to everyone i know! Amazing job Smokin' Guns BBQ & Catering!!!!

We love eating BBQ at Smoking Guns, the food is always hot and delicious. The beer is cold and the margarita's strong. The customer service is always helpful and kind. Try the burnt ends and beans.

We happened by this restaurant on a drive around North KC warehouse area. It looked okey and we were hungry. We were greeted and seated right away, only a few people in as it was 1:30 ish. Never had been there before but we both ordered the original platter with 2 sides. I got the sliced brisket and he got the pork. It came after a few minutes. Lots of food. I ordered sour and sweet cole slaw With a vinegar base and steak fries. Both sides were Very good! I might have expectations about BBQ. I expect to taste the smoke. The meat was good and great big slices. Just no smoke flavor. Their sauces were very good. Overall this was a good clean and tasty place. I recommend it!

Very good, I only sampled the shredded brisket and cole slaw but both were excellent as was the wait staff. Very loud place and very slow to get the food out. Why a 20 minute wait when everything is pre-made?

I’d obviously expected some decent bbq, we are in KC after all, but didn’t expect bbq as good as what I got! This solidly took a spot in my top 3 bbq joint list. The meat was good, not amazing by any standards, but the sides and sauces both shone like stars. The smoky original and the sweeter variety of the sauce made the sandwich stellar and the perfectly made fries tied in with the pickle extremely well. Wildly satisfied with the location.
