Review Muddy Waters Espresso - Kailua

Definitely enjoyed it. Outside seating. But even on a rainy day it was comfy. Food had a little bit of a wait but it was tasty! Definitely recommend the biscuits and gravy! Also the breakfast bagel sandwich was very delicate, with maple bacon and a cheese tomato mixed sauce

Fantastic coffee! We ordered an iced latte and an iced white chocolate mocha. Both were delicious but the white mocha was the favorite. The person working was VERY friendly and we got our coffees quickly even though there was a decent amount of people in line. While not a Trump supporter either, I did not feel uncomfortable or unwelcome from the couple stickers that were put up. Plus who cares who they support when the coffee is that good.

I came here back in 2015 and have never been treated so much like family anywhere in Hawaii! My wife and I were looking for a home to purchase in the area and just stumbled across the place coming out of Safeway. I smelt burgers on the grill and walked straight over. The nice woman at the front told us to grab ourselves a burger- when I asked how much it was she smirked and said they are free silly! Her son or some young boy was flipping burgers and we had a few and some good conversation. My wife and I went inside and told her how delicious they were and would like to buy some coffees and a smoothie to compensate. Nicest place I have ever been and wonderful family oriented people! I highly recommend it! I’ll deff be back soon once our move is complete!

First of all, don’t let these intolerant Commies fool you into staying away from a great coffee shop. Unfortunately, their hate for free speech has clouded their judgement, and forced them to miss the character of the shop. Not only is there a photo of our lord and savior, General Mattis, on the cream table, but the shop itself is very cute and full of interesting things. There are fish, plants, a bird, and two turtles for you and the kids to look at, but there is also a covered patio surrounded by plants and water to enjoy while you relax and sip your wonderful coffee. The menu has great options, as well as food choices for sandwiches and hot dogs. My White Chocolate Mocha was fabulous, 10/10 would recommend going if you’re okay with the First Amendment in practice. 🇺🇸

This place makes wonderful coffee and has an excellent vibe. I've run into dogs here no less than three times. They also have great outdoor seating. Highly recommend visiting.

I used to walk to Muddy Waters every Saturday afternoon from Marine Corps Base Hawaii (1997-2001). The coffee was always great and the service was friendly. Thanks for the memories! I'm so glad you guys are still open.

This place deserves 6 stars. Great people and the shaved ice is AMAZING. The coffee is straight from north shore and it couldn't get any fresher.

The place where the locals hang out and chat and talk about the upcoming day of boating or surfing etc. Good coffee and service. They have a chameleon you can pet.

Great vibe and best biscuits and gravy I've found on island! MAGA friendly as well.
