Review Bee & Tea - Kailua

Jill M Ward (Homes of Hawai'i RE)
Whether you want a milk tea, lemonade or smoothie, you can find it here. Add boba or jellies for an extra treat. After you order, you can sit on a bench outside and people watch! Lychee explosion and Thai teas in photo.

I’d say this place is good for what they have. While we only ordered a black milk tea (my usual go-to when a place doesn’t offer oolong) and their house lemonade, their menu seems to specialize in fruity or shakes. The black milk tea at 50% sweetness didn’t have as much tea flavor as I’d prefer. The honey boba was decently chewy which is a huge plus as it doesn’t seem they’ve been just sitting around. The lemonade is tasty and zesty but note that they don’t seem to be able to adjust its sweetness. Overall I’d come back if in area and looking for a proven bubble tea spot, but personally I like places with more of the classic Asian toppings like pudding, grass jelly, etc.

Really good place! We had the signature lemonade with pineapple jelly, lemonade tea berry bliss and strawberry mango lemonade with pineapple jelly. All of them were absolutely fantastic. If you’re in the area give it a try. Recommended 100%

I'm not going to lie, I was enticed to come here after seeing the cute pics of this place on instagram. The light bulb shaped cups that they put the tea in is what really makes this place unique. ***Drinks*** I got the Jasmine green tea. The drink itself was alright, but what really made my day was the uniqueness of the Light Bulb cup. I'm not really a fan of the boba balls, so I'll have to request it without that next time. ***Service/Ambiance/Parking*** The interior is neat and clean. The art work on the wall really catches the eye. Kind of gives off a little bit of a hipster vibe. Parking wasn't really an issue. We ended up parking on the side of the street and walking across to the venue. It wasn't too busy the day we went, so we didn't have to look far for street parking. Definitely some place I would come back to if given the opportunity.

Absolutely adore this tea shop. I got a jessamine green tea with coconut. It tastes De-licious!! This gotta be my top milk tea flavor ever. The tea was floral and full bodied. You can taste the note clearly. The milk was creamy and carries the tea really well. Service was 10 star. They customer my tea for me since I wanted something specific that afternoon. No fuss at all. Very pleasant experience!

This place really surprised me with their simple concept that works so well. I had the Queen Bee, black tea sweetened with honey. It was absolutely fantastic, and I can't imagine wanting boba tea without honey anymore. Absolutely a must visit place in Kailua.

Friendly atmosphere with music, no outside seating but adequate seating inside. Board games are available to play. Food is good and well presented.

I spotted this nifty shop from across the Kailua Night Market while listening to some live music from the upcoming teen bands "we came to jam" & "Coliseum Street." I was really craving some boba, and during the mini show in my peripherals I saw it! Bee & Tea it was perfect. Upon arrival of my very first visit of Bee & Tea, I immediately was drawn to the decor and art feature wall. It's a cute little shop serving unique and classic flavours, but the best part is that it's all naturally sweetened by 100% pure honey...hence the "Bee" part of Tea. As I am always looking for a good boba shop with alternative milks, this one really stimulated my stinger (pun intended), they offer coconut and almond woot! :) I ordered both the Taronator for my mum with lactose-free milk and for myself the White Out with coconut milk. The tapiocas tasted fresh and soft. With the satisfaction noises my stomach made as the flavours dances upon my tongue, I knew...THIS will be my go-to boba shop anytime I'm in Kailua. TL:DR Amazing flavours, naturally sweetened, fresh tapioca, and good price for quality boba. Full stars for great suggestions and great customer service :)

One of my favorite places on island for boba, they have a huge menu and every drink I have gotten from here has been absolutely delicious! They also have a rewards program!

Local vibe with a diverse selection of teas, smoothies, lemonades, and cold press coffees. You can choose to add boba to any of these items though it seems the default. The drinks run a little sweet in my opinion. Acai bowls and baos available should you feel hungry. Seating for about 20 inside and perhaps 6 outside. Definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in Kailua.

Great little shop. Loved my pearl tea boba drink! The location was a cute, clean, and modern looking place. Loved that they had board games for customers to sit and enjoy with each other over some food or drinks. The options for boba drinks were extensive with some great options and their options for acai bowls were few but looked delicious! I felt the amount of options was great. It made ordering simple and uncomplicated. Would love to have this shop back home. I'd go there often!

I have tried many boba tea shops on island and this is the best boba on island. The staffs are friendly and the shop is clean. I just wish they open more locations throughout the island.
