Review Timmy T's Gourmet Grinders Sandwich Shop - Kailua

I usually love Timmy T’s but lately they have been so skimpy on the meat that I’ve started adding extra meat. Today I paid $14 for a turkey sandwich with extra turkey and it had 2 pieces of turkey on it. Unacceptable and annoying.

If you are from the mainland and have ever visited the sandwich shop called Jimmy Johns then you have found the Hawaiian equivalent.  Though Timmy T’s is not a chain restaurant it offers the same expeditious sandwich making as Jimmy Johns.  The restaurant offers both typical sandwich options along with local favorites.  Customer service is quick, friendly, and knowledgeable.  The interior is full of local pictures, paintings, and funny real life innuendo posters.  Prices are very affordable and definitely worth it due to the taste of the food. They do not have a fountain drink machine so you will have to buy a canned/bottled beverage if you plan on drinking something with your meal.  They over cookies and/or chips to compliment your meal.  This place does have picnic tables for outdoor dining. Four stars because parking is a HEADACHE.  If you can walk to this place it would be more worth it because the parking is little to non-existent.

Super fast service, pretty great sandwich. They had all 4 sandwiches done by the time we figured out what kind of chips we wanted to get. Parking out back and super good location. 10/10!

Pretty stinking good sandwich! It did seem kind of expensive for a sandwich but it was stuffed with meat. I got the Pacific Pastrami and it was delicious! It may be I was just starving. The service was 10/10 so friendly and they had finished our sandwiches 2 minutes after we walked in the door!

Timmy T’s is phenomenal! The bread is so soft and the veggies are extremely fresh.

Great sandwich sub shop! The prices are reasonable and the meat Timmy T's uses is Boar Head! Additional toppings are complimentary also, like vinegarette, cucumbers, dijon, Italian herbs, sprouts, onions, lettuce, mayo. The ono moa(deluxe) and da big kahuna are winners! They also deliver within the kailua town area. Don't forget to try their choco chip cookies!

Great sandwiches, affordable prices, friendly & quick serving staff- nice option to take to the beach, make sure to get kamehameha style!

Club Kailua of lettuce wrap with additional bacon. It is refreshing and pretty tasty. Keto friendly! One down side is making mess... Prepare for some extra napkins!

Absolutely amazing food, even the simplest ones are truly mouth watering. Would always recommend coming here at least once.

Stumbled upon this place and so glad we did. My only suggestion would be to definitely “add” more meat to the sandwich!!! Bread was amazing!!

Best damn sandwich on island! Sure the price is higher than subway but you get what you pay for and that is a heavier sandwich that is more filling and satisfying in every way! I always go for THE KING K Jacked up with everything.

The walking salads are awesome!!! Today's flavor was Warrior style!

Allow vegetables on Keiki meals and I'll change rating... crazy. I even wanted to pay more, keep kids healthy, happy and wise!!! Respect!

As a fan of a brand with a rhyming name, I was so excited to hear that a sandwich shop like this was coming to my sleepy little beach town. While some are calling it a rip off, I'm calling it an UPGRADE! Better meat, better bread, and local boys behind the counter. Timmy Tom, I've decided that Auntie knows better than Mom.

You definitely have to check this place out. The owners are so chill and the sandwiches are well worth the drive!

Went here for the first time tonight and it was so dang yummy I've been missing jimmy johns for the main land and this was just as amazing if not better! Loved it so much thanks for the amazing food!

Ordered a "little kahuna Moa" sandwich with meat and lettuce. GOT a little French roll with cheese! � NO meat, lettuce, mayo, mustard! Nada!!!! Very disappointed.

Fast delicious food, friendly service, and great atmosphere. Food is refreshing on a hot day!
