I found this gem while staying in Kona for a couple days. I'm so glad I did! The NY hoagie (sub sandwich) was super delicious, fresh and flavorful. Custom made cause I don't like tomatoes nor peppers. Christine is legit, an east coaster who knows authentic ingredients. You can see how much she cares
Excellent sandwiches! We always order these delicious sandwiches for the plane ride with macaroni salad or Hawaiian chips. This is much better than airplane food for sure.
What a great spot! Delicious food if you don't mind a bit of a wait (just call ahead and order if you are in a hurry cause it's worth it!) They were more than willing to run with my 'chefs choice' request and it did not disappoint!
Go here for sure. The great reviews are correct. Clean, Fresh, and Local. Great sandwiches, great soups. Next I'm going to try some of the amazing looking baked goodies! Service is all Aloha ))

Really amazing authentic deli, have not found one like it in Hawaii other than this one! Very clean kitchen, Christine the owner treats you like you are family, she has some of the best soups reminds me of my grandmothers cooking. Definitely recommend her warm sandwiches and fresh macaroni salad.
Should be able to give 10 stars! Christine is a pleasure to work with. She has taken care of our company lunches quite a few times and always leaves us satisfied and coming back for more. Definitely stop in if you're in town. Great sandwiches and awesome people!

Some great sandwiches. Portions are terrific and was fast. Can get very busy around lunch or before since this is such an awesome spot. No indoor seating but sandwiches are best enjoyed while you are out and about.

Great Hidden Gem! I had a Roast Beef with Provolone on toasted Potato bread with Scandinavian potato salad. It was awesome. Christine made it up and visited with us throughout our visit.

Excellent service and food! We got the minestrone soup and italian sub, best sub I’ve had in a long time, so classic and delicious. Lady at the front went out of her way to give good service and fill our soups all the way to the top haha! Thanks!
Damn one of the top 3 sandwiches all time in my 58 years of life....Just amazing, fresh....good size too...staff is great.... very happy and fun - even during a rush....great atmosphere all around ....no places to sit but still worth it....this is a hidden gem
