While in search of a bathroom on the way to the green sand beach we happened on this gem. The public bathrooms located on the bottom floor of this shopping center were the first draw as all other gas stations and coffee shops we passed had signs up saying drive through only or no public bathrooms. This place closed down for a while during COVID and now is open back up in a new location. And thank God. It was by far my favorite restaurant in Kona before and it still is now. The food is so great and nutritious and they give you so many wonderful veggies that are hard to find in Hawaii. The
Hidden gem in Captain Cook, serving fresh & tasty produce and with friendly service. We had the burrito w/ soup and the dragonfruit bowl and will definitely be back before going home. Would recommend this place to everyone!
Amazing place. We tried the açai bowls and the juices. The bowls were full of fresh cut fruits. They were fresh and delicious and we wish we could have come back for more - other options in the menu were tempting. It's a shame it opens rather late in the morning.
Not to be missed!
Was referred by a local so found this gem in the Islander Inn.
Fresh, vegan friendly and have good vegetarian food too.
The service was good and everything was made on the spot freshly so nothing pre-made which was fabulous.
Definitively will be back for the acai superbowl. The burrito and quesadill
I had never had an açaí bowl before and this was one of the best things I ever ate. Period. I got the traditional and my partner got half and half. We both liked the açaí better. Mountain of fresh fruit, seeds and other goodies. My only complaint is I wish there had been more granola, but as a açaí
Great experience. Foods were delicious and very fresh. We ordered fruit bowl and bacon, avacado crepe and Kona coffee. Highly recommended place, good and healthy foods. Friendly staff, got to talked and shared stories with owner Tess. Very talented lady, she make her own furniture too.
Very friendly staff and cute little place hidden inside of an Inn. The food is all health based so if you choose the chicken dishes they have or the vegan/vegetarian options, you can't go wrong. I don't eat meat but based on what I've tried, I'm sure the meat options are just as delicious.
