Mahina Pizza - Kailua-Kona - Photo album

First off, if there is good surf, they will most likely be closed....but this is a good thing. Mahina Pizza is one of those small pizza joints where the owner has the best of both worlds. They use their culinary expertise to make home-tasting pizza while taking advantage of the surf right behind the
Mahina Pizza is located about a coffee shop. The looks can be deceiving however the locals love this place. Great pizza with several toppings and a warm friendly atmosphere. I would recommend to visitors of the island who need a quick bite to eat.
Very happy with this pizza place! They make the pizza by hand use all natural ingredients. While it's not NY style pizza, it doesn't have to be... It's still very good pizza! One of the best cheap eats in the area (which are very limited). I got two slices with one topping on each, and an ice tea fo
Salad with house dressing is 5stars. Cheesy garlic bread was good, but could be SO much better if they used real garlic instead of powder. Thin crust pizza was fine... ingredients very good, crust boring (no yeast flavor). But a great place to watch people and cars cruising Ali'i if you get a seat b
Best place to eat in Kona town. As far as I can tell one person waits the tables and makes the food, so be patient. It’s BYOB. Great for families. Best pizza on the island if you ask me.
The owner is very attentive to customer. She offered to make the pizza half-half between the choices of my two children, and on top of that, double cut a few slices "in case someone wants to have a different taste". This kind of personal touch brings customer back again and again.
Absolutely amazing pizza. Semi thin crust with so much flavour yet simple. Highly recommend this place. It's simple and chill.
When we walked in we were the only family there. Jeffrey served us (Jeffrey is awesome and makes eating here an experience, not just another place to eat). Best thin crust pizza I have had in my life. I am a pizza fanatic and very picky. The crust was firm and had great flavor, the sauce was superb
Great pizza. Really affordable. Friendly fun staff. We had ham and pineapple. Mmm
Great pizza, and we had this good boy come out and ask for pizza while we were eating, great time. Would definitely go back!
This is definitely a hidden gem! The food was amazing - pizza is fresh, hot and delicious. Also, definitely recommend the cheesy garlic bread. The service was fantastic, Jeffrey was super friendly and he has a cute pizza shop dog named Sam. They were really busy with take out orders so definitely r
Just awesome pizza! Lots of topping to pick from and, I think it was the owner, the woman who took care of us was super nice both times we went! We went once around 8 at night and then again at about 1 in the afternoon and both times the pizza was great! They have a foosball table to play with and d
What a hidden gem 💎!!!!! The signage for this place is hidden, so look the the Thai restaurant sign, go up the stairs and go left for the best pizza we’ve had! My husband and I travel way too much so we know pizza! Oh and bring your own cooler! They serve water and soda, so if you want a beer w
Very good pizza! We tried macadamia nuts on one of the pizzas, I would recommend that if you want something unique. They're chopped up so they aren't big chunks, but rather a consistent crunch throughout. We paired that with sundried tomatoes, which helped it from being too dry/monotonous.
The pizza we had here was delicious! It was also well priced, and our server was very friendly. Also - they get bonus points because of their pricing structure. If you order a specialty pizza and subtract ingredients, they actually reduce the price of the pizza... that's how it should be done!
