Some of the best pizza I have ever had! Pictured is the Greek pizza and the beach boys pizza. This pizza feed us for a couple of days. They have amazing fresh ginger beer, highly recommend. I wish this place was on the mainland too so I could have more of it!
Great tasting pizza and great selection . I had half Hawaiin and half garlic with pesto and arugula. They were delicious. The crust is thin and we had left overs between 3 girls from a 20" pizza. A must go to when In Kona.
Great experience here. Very low key mellow environment. Super friendly staff. Order at the counter and they bring your food and drinks to you. Nice outdoor seating area as well. No wait, when we went at 5 pm. Kona and Ola brewing on tap! Well priced compared to many places in the area.
Overall, the pizza was good. I am dinging them one star for customer service. The cooks were arguing by the ovens and also the pizza took over an hour.
We didn't want to eat pizza on the island for fear it was going to taste like Costco pizza. But we saw a while bunch of locals go in and they said it was the best pizza around. They were wrong. It's some of the best pizza anywhere! The service was quick, the owner was very friendly. Ask her the secret ingredient to make that dough some crispy yet fluffy in the middle. The flavor was a party in my mouth. And try her homemade ginger ale from scratch!
Best pizza near Kona! Garlic lovers and pepperoni were our favorites. Delicious taro crust!
Pretty good Hawaiian pizza. Nice sitting area outside. Workers are all friendly and helpful.

As stated below, my wife and I ate here twice, and we were very happy with the overall experience. Beyond delicious pizza (the BBQ Chicken and the Jaws were awesome!), the folks behind the counter are kind, communicative, and hard working.
Our first night, before we ordered, we were informed that the wait would be around 1.5 hours, due to a huge order being placed a while before us. That was obviously not what we had expected, and we considered looking elsewhere to eat. However, we opted for individual slices, which came out much quicker, and were just what we needed. An individual slice is definitely entree sized - these folks aren’t playing. I appreciated their honesty and upfront message about the wait, but also that they were flexible enough to help feed us quicker!
The second time around, after having such yummy pie the first time, we ordered almost exactly what we did previously. So much so, that when our ticket read for a different item than what we ordered, the staff recognized our previous order and got it sorted out. Again, awesome!
So, if you are trying to find good pizza in Kona - this is it!
My husband and I visited Longboard Legends twice on our trip to the Big Island! We absolutely loved the pizza, salads and fresh ingredients. It is always nice to support local businesses and especially a family business.
I thoroughly enjoyed the Greek Salad and being able to create my own slice of pizza. The crust is awesome and everything tastes so fresh.
We would highly recommend this place!
I went here in February during my vacation... not once, twice, but THREE TIMES! This pizza was one of the best pizza places I have been to. Ended up speaking with the owner when it was slow one of the times, and she told us about herself and her business and was just super super friendly. They do pizza by the slice, and you get to pick your toppings and they make it fresh! Thats so cool!
I recommended this place to two friends who went there after me, and they both went and said it was amazing!!
If I ever visit the Big Island again, I will stay close to this place so I can grab another bite! :)
