Went to Jackie Rey’s to celebrate my birthday while on the island and had a nice and enjoyable meal. The atmosphere is a bit more upscale (and very blue) with a large bar and open air windows. Definitely a bit more of an upscale feel.
Dinner was tasty all around but probably just ordered the wrong
The Linguine with clams is outstanding; you can clearly savor the infusion of white wine, making it exceptionally delicious. The seafood trio is equally impressive, particularly the yam which complements the dishes perfectly. The poke, with its impeccable sauce, is another highlight. Our dinner expe
Came here for a nice dinner on our last day of the trip. I wasn’t expecting much besides atmosphere, but it ended up being the best meal we had on this trip. The clam chowder was nice and creamy, the tortellini was super umami and flavorful, and the sous vide duck was tender and amazing. Would defin
One of the best restaurants we tried so far in Hawaii. We got there just in time for sunset, they have a panoramic view throughout the restaurant.. We actually were in search for a fine dining experience so when we first got there we were slightly disappointed (it was lovely dont get me wrong, just
I cant believe how good this place is. My initial thought when I was there was that “it’s just a typical western restaurant serving American foods” because I saw many old people there lol. We were literally the only young people there under 30s. All the foods we tried were so great and every dishes
Service was slow. and the king crab was strangely served with vegetable oil. The pork spring roll was delightfully packed with meat and the surf and turf was cooked to perfection. The cocktails were delicious. The view of the sunset was beautiful.
Excellent food, friendly service and nice atmosphere. We did not have a reservation, and the staff made us feel welcome, gave us a realistic wait time, and were all very attentive throughout our whole experience. I will go again!
Lovely place. Great food. Had the fresh catch and didn't disappoint. You get the resort quality without the resort prices(if you are staying at a resort)👌 👏
Overall, this is a good restaurant to come have a nicer meal at during your vacation. I wish they would have been more considerate for our reservation, though. We made a reservation for 6 people at 6:15pm on a Monday night for my mother's 53rd birthday. We called while we were en route to tell them
It is helpful to know they no longer have their happy hour food menu. Great environment with ocean view. Good waiter. Ribs were tasty. Ceasar salad was fresh but uncut and bitter. My son got the shrimp and chicken angel hair pasta ($33), and there were 3 shrimp, and a third of the content was tomato
The best meal we had on the big island was at Jackie Rey’s. The food was delicious, the presentation was even better, so beautiful. I got the seafood trio and my husband got the special of the day which was beer battered ono. We also shared the fudge brownie dessert. Everything was fabulous. (Not pi
One of the best restraunts we have ever been to in our life. The food staff and owner were amazing. This was a very last min stop and it absolutely made our trip.
If you can go big and get the surf and turf. You will not be disappointed 😌
Absolutely fantastic meal. Service was awesome and they suggested the Mochiko Crusted Fresh Catch Of The Day and the Seafood Trio. Both were so delicious and so beautifully presented. Also had their Lilikoi Fauxjito and Pomegranate Lime Spritzer and they were really tasty and refreshing. A definite
The food here is AMAZING! They have the best pork spring rolls. Their Lilikoi cheesecake is to die for! Gelato there is great and if you're into it, try their mocktails, they, like everything else there is amazing. Loved the atmosphere and shout out to our awesome waitress Dasha and to the amazing o
Excellent service. Ribs were fine, the guava sauce flavor did not come thru but they were very meaty. The Mahi Mahi was good. The Kahlua pork spring rolls were the best thing we had, truly excellent. Specialty cocktails were great. The Lemon Grass Caesar salad was a bit lack luster.
Best meal we’ve had in Kona. The food melts in your mouth, the drinks go down way too smoothly, and the service is amazing. Seriously must stop.
Booked via Yelp and it helped in reduced seating time. Excellent appetizers. Had Edamame, salad and crab cakes. All 3 dishes were great. Ambiance was lively. Mai Tai was delayed but was good with dishes. I had grilled fish (mahi mahi) with rice and vegetables. Would come again.
My siblings and I took our parents here for their wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed! The waiters were great, friendly, and knew the menu so well. Loved that they provided their suggestions.
The food was delicious, and the drinks were boozy. Try the passion flow!
Would definitely boo
What a great restaurant! Parking was easy and available. The restaurant was airy with plenty of seating. The waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful. The food presentation was outstanding. This would be my go to place for freshly prepared food. Prices were reasonable.
