Such a memorable meal! Our only regret was going here on the second last night of our trip, the restaurant was closed the next night or we would have gone again. My husband and I stayed at turtle bay for a week and ate at all of the restaurants and this was our favorite by far. Everything from the view of the surfers outside during sunset to the bread to the presentation and service paired with amazing food made this so wonderful. I ordered the pork tenderloin and ,y husband ordered the surf and turf. Everything was exceptional. I had the crème brule for dessert which doesn't look pretty in the picture as the coconut it was served in was dark but it was super tasty too. We can't wait to hopefully come back one day.

Wonderful view, service, and above all dining experience! Cocktails were delicious, not like other places that serve sub-par drinks. Dinner was cooked perfectly dessert was great! Would certainly recommend and definitely will return!

Very good seafood dishes. The baked oysters welldone are packed with flavour, the tuna tataki taste clean and juicy, the salmon and fish with crabmeat atop entres are tender and fresh. It's not expected to find a hotel restaurant with supeb food.

Started out with a perfectly-balanced mai tai and hamachi crudo. The hamachi was served in a truffled ponzu that was delicate and nuanced. For my main, enjoyed the filet and lobster. Filet served with 4 gourmet salt selections ranging from white to black and was flavorful and tender. Lobster was perfectly cooked, moist and succulent. Went quite well with a Cline Zin. Lava cake dessert was surprisingly light - just right. Add the magnificent view, and the place is a clear winner. Fine value for the money.

This place is located in turtle bay... little nice outdoor eatery... I tried Kim chi bbq taco... and maitai.... of course being part of the resort... maitai was little more on the pricey side.... 4 maitai cost me whoopin $64 without the tip.... but for sure you will get to enjoy the surfers hitting some high waves...

The Pan Chicken was the best I've ever had, service was amazing when thought we did not have a reservation, many wine selection. In Oahu, stop by, golfing or not.

You get a great view of the ocean here, the menu is sparse but carefully chosen and the dishes were all prepared to perfection. The market fish was surprising good with a macadamia nut crust over greens and with garlic mashed. The filet prohibitively pricey but as good as it gets. Actually there was both quality and a goodly amount of food to satiate the appetite. Luckily it was on a business expense otherwise I'd never have wasted the money if you want the truth

We had a great experience! After reading all the reviews, negative included I went in looking out for all those negatives especially and all I can say is that my family and I only experienced superb service, great atmosphere and a wonderful view. The food for the most part was excellent, It just had unique flavorings. The only disappointment of the evening was my daughters Mac and Cheese. It was not the right flavor profile for a kiddo. It actually was Very bland but left an odd aftertaste. Other than that, the Espresso martini was absolutely delicious as well as the filet mignon.Tiago and Joshua were very personable, Courteous and professional! We will definitely be back and encourage others to try this establishment as well! Kudos to a job well done!😎

Food is EXCELLENT!! We shared this Rock Salt appetizer and Poke that was prepared table side, OMG! Delicious! Staff were extremely attentive and we had a million dollar view! I'm serious, everyone from the hostess to the waitstaff and even the bartender, (our bartender was Allison and she makes the best Cosmos) these folks were terrific. We saw the most incredible sunset while listening to live music. How does it get any better than this!!!

My husband took me here for a celebration of our 45th Anniversary. What can I say? The service was impeccable, the wait staff was incredible and the food... It was one of the best meals we’ve ever eaten and the wine pairings were perfect. Everything was cooked perfectly and we were even brought an extra dessert of coconut creme’ brûlée. Thank you so much for helping make our anniversary special.

Can't thank them enough for making our 15th anniversary dinner so special and unforgettable! I let them know the occasion in advance, and they went above and beyond to make our night extra special. Everyone knew our names and wished us a happy 15th. They set aside the best table, with flowers and candles, and a special dessert. Oh, and the food was delicious. Expensive, of course, but it was worth it. I had the seared, crusted ahi, and loved loved loved it. She had the snapper special, and it was great, too. Our soups were also delicious, hers the tomato, nice and spicy, and mine a delightful melon basil gazpacho. Yum! Many thanks to the whole staff for a wonderful memory!

Food, to die for. Service, exceptional. The meal we had here made our stay at Turtle Bay memorable. I should mention that we were in Waikiki when Hurricane Lane was approaching. We moved North to Turtle Bay and were greeted with clouds, rain and wind. It was not an ideal Hawaii experience. That said, eating at Pa'akai was one of the experiences that made us happy. Everything was perfect. I will give one piece of advice to the new owners of the resort, however, you can't have a five star restaurant and not spend money of a high quality espresso machine. This is of the utmost importance. Replace the machine. The last experience of a meal is often the after dinner coffee/espresso. When it is as bad as Pa'akai's it leaves one wondering, "Why? Why wouldn't they just invest in a better machine?" If I lived on the North Shore I would frequent this restaurant. I'm one of those people who would end up just buying the machine for the restaurant myself, just so I could have a good espresso after my meals. We are looking at vacation property on the island, I hope it doesn't come to that one day.
