Okay, so we were certainly hesitant based on a few recent reviews. I'm glad we tried Rockwell anyway, because the food is amazing. We shared the pouting, spicy mac, seafood chowder, and a Caesar salad. All of the food was absolutely delicious and the beers on tap were aplenty. I'm really impressed with the food and the service was good. I would say it seemed very understaffed, but our waiter was very attentive and honest about our selections.
Hope more will give this place a try, and I hope they're able to fix the staffing misses that other folks notes.

Came in on a cruise ship looking for great food and beer. This place delivered excellently.
The American kobe burger was one of the best We all ever had. They have a great selection of beers also.
Sean was one of the most polite, personable servers we have had the pleasure to meet.
So glad to have found it.

*Edit* Went back again... Had a chicken sandwich, it was pretty okay. The fries are still good. If they can improve the service and the decor, it might be a cool place to hang out.

Service is terrible, beer selection is poor, the menu looks good and interesting, but the actual food isn't that great. The fries are very good, the Mac and cheese so-so. I was served a burger that was completely raw save for a thin sear on the outside. The atmosphere is not good.

The food was fantastic across the board. We worked our way through the entire starter menu. The staff was friendly and, best of all, not a single person from our cruise came here. It's easy walking distance from the dock but no one crosses the street. Tons of local brews. Tons of foreign wines. Great food. What else do you want? Stop reading this and go.

Would have been 4 or 5 stars. Ordered kale and Brussel Sprouts. Options were to add Salmon, steak or chicken for an extra fee. 8pm out of Salmon in Alaska?? Ok I'll have steak. Out of steak .... This is not good business. I had the chicken of course and it was nicely prepared and tasty but about a quarter of a chicken breast max. Very disappointing and could have been so good. Service friendly and prompt but didn't know how much a glass of wine was and no offer of a list or to find out. Just guessed. $30 was steep for a small plate of veg and a glass of wine. ($1 more than the price he guessed). Sorry, just not good enough.

Great location, Historic old Elks Lodge building in the heart of downtown Juneau. Very spacious restaurant, Attractive bar, Friendly service. Popular with locals. Delicious vegan pea soup, very tasty knife and fork Cesar, very good polenta lasagna. Now offering a much improved simplified menu, with no desserts available. Open only for dinner.

Best Fries in Juneau. Crispy outside, tender inside. Freshest potato taste you can find in the city. The burger was great too, but really, I prioritize the fries here - and not in that gimmicky way of having 34 varieties, but doing one style of french fries very well. I commented on them verbally from fry one, to fry done.
The Kobe beef was tender but with hearty texture. Fresh bun and toppings made this a great dinner spot after a long hike up Mt. Roberts.

Visiting from Anchorage and loved this place! The buttermilk tenders, kobe burger, mac n cheese, & fries were all very good! Our server was kind and very attentive! Their only down fall is the decor but its very clean and simple! Favorite place in Juneau so far!
