Pizza Man's Pizza

the first photo is a google stock image of how a new york style pizza is supposed to be prepared; light and crisp, and the second is the mess you try to pass off as pizza(not even my own but accurate). Now is the third time you’ve delivered what was supposed to be pizza and it was a slurpy cheese soup on top of soggy bread.

Called in a delivery on my birthday and was told they would not deliver to me (I live in a predominantly black neighborhood) an wasn't givn a reason..... When I asked I was told "we just don't go into the homes" *verbatim* very polite, excellent menu never tried first time called... Oh and the woman who took my order knew nothing of the menu or where they delivered buh I was told she was new so.... 🤷

I was against ordering from pizza man this evening because legit Everytime we order it's always a complete disaster and disappointing and tonight was no exception! Pizza look like someone took a bite out of the crust and was delivered upside down, steak hoagie was sub par at best with more peppers than steak. Absolutely the last time we order from pizza man! Shame Because it used to be amazing.

This is not the first time something like this has happened when I’ve called to try and place an order….I called repeatedly to place an order and the line was busy. After calling repeatedly, I finally got through and was told to hold…and after a few minutes, I was hung up. I called back repeatedly again, and was again told to hold. This time, I was literally on hold for nearly 30 minutes…the only reason why I went through all this effort is because my children really like their pizza and they were really upset when I said I wanted to hang up and order from somewhere else. So, after holding for that long, with no one getting on the line and giving me any information, or letting me know that they were busy and would get to me, I was again hung up on. While I appreciate a business being busy, and I also appreciate that many businesses are having difficulties with staffing shortages, this is simply unacceptable…even if someone got on the line and let us know that they were busy and it would be a few minutes, I could understand….but to leave us on hold, with no updates, and then have the call disconnected….I’m remarkably disappointed at these repeated experiences…and despite informing them of my experiences, there was never any effort to make things right, not even a “we’re sorry that happened,"….I make a concerted effort to support local businesses as much as I can, but I simply can’t support this business anymore…we will be ordering exclusively from Santo’s from here on out
