My family's favorite place for ramen. The taco (only one style with several meat choices, mild or spicy) is amazing and the bibimbop (rice, julienned veggies, and kimchi in a warm clay pot) is my personal fav and always good. Definitely worth adding to your downtown list.

We really enjoyed our lunch today. The staff was very friendly and served us well. We tried the tacos. We sampled the beef, pork, and the chicken. We tried both the sweet sauce and the spicy. Everything was great. The spicy tacos did have a good kick and some lasting heat. The prices were very reasonable and we got a good amount of food. We will definitely be back. I am looking forward to trying their fried rice plate and the build your own ramen.

This is my very favorite place to eat. Although I cannot vouch for every item on the menu (I'm just not brave enough to try squid), I have tried most everything and it is all great. I tried japchae first and fell in love; I have tried it in several bigger cities I have visited since and paid more but never had any quite as good so I recommend making the effort to go on Saturday since now it is only served that day. But try the bulgogi, the fried rice in an ultra-thin egg wrapping with a wonderful sweet sauce (this is coming from a person so picky abut eggs that I never order them out), or the bibimbap. Do not forget to try the ramen, which bears no resemblance to the sad, almost instant kind most people are familiar with and is instead a true delight. Oh, and of course, the tacos should not be missed and I recommend getting at least two so you can try one with the sweet and one with the spicy sauce (if you don't care for cilantro, just ask for it to be left out). I have taken quite a few people here and every one of them has left a fan. You will not be sorry!

The food is superb! And the owner is super friendly and willing to make your meal just the way you like it! I highly recommend the spicy beef tacos, as an appetizer only of course!

Best place for lunch in Downtown Johnson City. Everything is fresh and tastes great. Recommend the lunch Bulgogi if you like beef. Tacos are soft shell and lite. Highly recommend.

My husband and I finally tried Korean taco for the first time after my son has been talking about this place for over a year. He gets the Ramen noodles religiously and loves it. We tried the tacos and found them to be amazing, even got a couple to go. We will be definately going back.

When I saw the sign, Korean Taco House, my heart instantly said, you must eat there! We are from out of town (Dayton, Ohio) and love eating at small locally owned places, we purposely seek them out. We had eaten right before arriving in Johnson City, but I had to have a Taco! I got 3 to sample with my party, 1 sweet chicken, 1 spicy chicken, 1 beef... saying they were all delicious would be an understatement! The combination of flavors were exceptional, then you add a squeeze of fresh lime, and the flavor just explodes. All fresh ingredients, couldn't ask for more. #TeamSpicy #Foodie

Nice little spot. Popped in at lunch, may be busy, but very worth the wait or get there before the lunch crowd. Food is authentic and fresh, portions are excellent and prices very good. 2 Two of us for under 20$. Waitstaff was friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend the bulgogi. Another guest offered the ramen and it looked delicious. That's on my list my next visit!

Kimchi soup very tasty and filling and bulgogi was great! Small place but the food was excellent. A veteran was there and said this tasted just like the food in Korea. Both dishes were sizzling on serving!

Great, cute little restaurant with an amazing and eclectic menu. Perfectly situated in the downtown Johnson area, easy to park and walk to. They have everything, from tacos, to ramen, and several authentic Korean dishes, little splashes of everything. Everything we had was great! We had Jajangmyeon, and it was very savory. The vegetables were cooked, yet crunchy and the chicken and noodles were perfect. The Tteokbokki was perfectly spicy and the rice cakes were delicious. The fried rice comes wrapped in an omelette that looks like the size of a swaddled newborn! Lots of food for just $8.99. We also had an order of the tacos and chicken ramen. Very tasty! The staff was very kind and patient. We had such a great time! The food was exceptional and for the price you cannot go wrong.

Get there early because it's tiny, but so worth it! The bulgogi & kimchi pancake were incredible! Generous portions as well. Definitely making this a regular stop

Oh. My. Word! What a jewel. The best definition of a "hole-in-the-wall" restaurant! Small in size but food is very reasonably priced and incredibly tasty! Do yourself a favor and go here!

What a fantastic experience. The food was exceptional. We had the fried rice, that was huge! The dumplings were great. The taco was also really good. When they say spicy they mean it.
