This restaurant is amazing! The staff is so friendly and service is wonderful. We have gotten take out several times and it has always been great. We ate in for the first time today and it was the absolute best. The owner recommended a lamb dish that was the best thing I have ever tasted. Can't recommend this place enough! Also, try the garlic naan. You could make a meal on that alone.

To celebrate the opening of our daughter’s photography exhibit at ETSU, it was her choice to dine at Sahib afterwards. We had all been looking forward to this evening. Although we weren’t sure what to expect, we certainly were not disappointed as we enjoyed the finest food and hospitality we have encountered anywhere.
We walked through the door of what had clearly once been a Long John Silver’s restaurant in another lifetime, and were immediately lured in by the pungent scent of exotic spices and aromatics.
The interior decor was dimly lit, cozy and welcoming. We arrived late with a large party, and the staff’s recommendation was that we enjoy a variety of foods from the menu, all served family style. With the foods chosen especially for us, this provided a wonderful opportunity for everyone to sample widely from the extensive menu.
Cocktails were prepared one by one, each being presented in grand style, and each, indeed, worthy of such fanfare.
The evening was a feast for all senses. The vibrant colors and textures fed our eyes, the alluring spice blends teased our noses, while our palates were seduced by the exotic finale of everything in combination.
It was as if we had been transported to a magical location where each item was the best of its kind, with the next drink, the next bite, the next conversation even better than the one that preceded it.
From the visual drama of flaming food, to the entertaining way in which we were made to feel welcome at the table, dinner at Sahib is an experience we are anxious to replicate time and time again.
Sahib's has the best atmosphere and their food is exceptionally good. Not only do you dine on the finest Indian cuisine, but you can relax listening to the beautiful melodies offered for your enjoyment. The staff is so courteous and friendly. It is a perfect place to go as a couple or as a family. If you haven't eaten there...you are missing out.
Lov this place food is great . My husband is a vegetarian, and I eat meat and they hav the perfect food for both of us . If you hav a vegetarian in you family you know going out to eat is not easy . Here is your answer. The food will wake up your taste buds
Sahib is easily the best Indian eatery in Northeast Tennessee! I drive from Abingdon, VA on a semi-regular basis to dine there. Fantastic food, great people, and great service!
We eat here often and it never disappoints. The lunch buffet is the most fun for our family of 5 because we can try a little bit of everything. When we go for dinner we usually order at least one lamb dish and it's always delicious. Being from NYC and having had lots of authentic cuisine I was happy to find Sahib, it's our favorite restaurant in the tri-cities!
The food was fantastic the service was wonderful. This was my first time there but I would definitely go back again an I would most definitely recommend this restaurant. Very satisfied customer.

Authentic great tasting Indian food. Whenever I pass through Johnson City, I always make it a point to have the delicious food at Sahib Indian Cuisine. Kaju paneer and paneer makhani are my favorite.
Excellent customer service. The manager and the owner are very friendly. If your taste buds need re-calibration and wake up call, this is the place. Different layers of flavors from the same dish with your choice of spice level make it so special.
Great variety of choices on the menu and it is made fresh. This is not typical, low-effort buffet style food made and served for everyone with the same regular taste in the mass. They really care about the flavors and the quality of the dishes made individually for each customer.
The only complaint during my last visit was the lumpy rice and didn’t taste good. Kaju paneer was incredible as usual. I always felt that the Indian restaurants in US are not as good as the restaurants in India, but this one is definitely as good as any high end signature restaurant in India.
Went for a buffet with my boyfriend and his best friend! We had an amazing time and the food was absolutely delicious! A great way to be introduced to Johnson City's diversity and hospitality.
Cute looking restaurant with a great patio area and a rather romantic indoor experience. Very tasty authentic indian flavors with Large portions sizes. The tandoori chicken appetizer was large enough to be an entree. I will definitely be recommending this to others. The staff is very personable and helpful. The owner himself came out to get the whole restaurant to sing happy birthday to a nearby table. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

We are visiting from Chicago area and came upon Sahib much to the delight of our boys! We all enjoyed our food tremendously! The lamb pasanda was the best we have ever had before. The service was wonderful and the porch offered a great space to eat and enjoy some family time! Thank you!!!

The food is beautifully prepared and presented. You will leave this restaurant pleasantly full and feeling as you have been on an adventure. Whether you are a fan of Indian food or a first time you will enjoy. The staff is wonderful , helpful and very personable. They have outside seating as well, that is very nice for warm days.
You will not be disappointed.
