We went here for my birthday. My husband and I decided to seat at the bar.. Best service ! Moises and Alvaro took care of us. They recommend my husband some beers and also a good scotch. I ordered a hot toddy which was perfect for the cold weather. Food was ok. I would prefer the octopus to be cook a bit more crispy and with some type of lime sauce. But I really love their grill cocktail shrimp. We got the big steak for two TOMAHAWK. It was cooked medium as we ordered and we also got the Brussels sprouts (which we didn’t like at all) it tasted a bit burn. The potato pure was good too. Give it a try and I would recommend you to at the bar not just because of the view but also the service! 😊

We were a table of 7 and sat outside. This was the best part of the evening. Ordered several appetizers including one that I ordered often at the many restaurants that I frequent around the U.S. and abroad. The Spanish octopus was completely dried out. Tasteless. NONE of us liked our entrees. The food was tasteless and unremarkable. This is a great place to have drinks if you don't mind paying $160.00 for a Silver Oak (Alexander Valley). This wine should never sell for $160 even in an inflationary time. We spoke with the manager. He was very approachable and listened to us. I'll never come back.

Went for dinner and showed up over an hour before our reservation but we were able to get a table. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food and drinks were quite good and the view of the water and the NY skyline is really great! Quite a variety of food and customers so probably would be great for just about any occasion. We tried a few different things but I think the max and cheese was the best. Really rich and delicious. Would certainly recommend checking this place out. Not a super cheap meal but the area is really nice so you can expect to pay a little premium.

Really enjoyed my meal at this restaurant. The Bao shrimp appetizers are especially good. Drinks are great and service is top notch. Even with it being overcast the views were amazing. Will definitely return and recommend.

I made a reservation for 6 for a Monday evening at 7 pm. When I arrived there were already several parties waiting to check-in. We requested to be seated outside but had to wait half an hour for a table to be ready. When we were finally seated, they were nice seats with a prime view of lower Manhattan. We were served water immediately after being seated, but we somehow ended up waiting twenty minutes before the someone came to take our order for drinks. They apologized that there was a miscommunication that kept us waiting . After putting in our orders, the kitchen prepped the food pretty quickly and they came out in two batches. Each plate was carefully crafted and very nicely presented. Highly recommended dishes had to be the Mac and cheese, tuna tartare and the braised short ribs. The Mac and cheese came served in a little cast iron pan that kept the cheese nicely melted and stringy for a long time. The tuna tartare came served with chips for dipping. The tuna was topped with avocado and a citrus sauce, it was a delicate balance of texture and flavors. The chips did get soggy after a while of sitting in the tin. The dishes to stay away from would be the wedge salad and the arugula pizza. The pizza was a little soggy and the wedge salad was underwhelming. Although the service could have been a little more attentive, this place overall has a wonderful vibe with a selection of decent dishes and 3 hr free parking with validation.

I tried Hudson & Co for the first time this week. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich and crispy Spanish octopus, which came with a fingerling potato salad, mustard caviar, and verjus glaze. The sauce of the crispy chicken sandwich was delicious and the most memorable part of my meal. Overall, the food was great, and I would recommend this if you're looking for a good restaurant in Jersey City!

I’ve been wanting to come here for some drinks for a long time and finally was able to. I ordered the white frozen peach sangria and it’s more on the tarty side but it was still good. I also wanted to try the four cheese mac and cheese and it was extremely delicious. Makes a great dish to share or as one’s own meal.

The food was quite disappointing. The grilled octopus was too salty. We ordered the steak for two and although cooked as we wanted, it was a little underwhelming in taste. Cocktails were excellent. The server was nice and attentive.
