Red Lobster

My wife and I frequent different locations being one of our favorite places on our list. This time at Jensen Beach on US 1 location it did not hit the mark as per our expectations by comparison to other locations. Slow service, drinks and biscuits. My wife loves trio shrimp as always and had no issues, shrimp well prepared at different levels, sauce spot on and linguini perfect. I ordered surf and turf lobster, scallops and steak. Lobster very good and steak was spot on. Problem i had was the scallops wrapped with beacon!! Too much beacon confused the star of the flavor being scallops, beacon was king of the flavor and could not taste scallops at all. A bit disappointing dish due to much higher prices due to our current economy and expected a real seafood taste. Server needs to be more attentive even during a slower time of day approx 3pm. Not a lot of people at all. Server with a busy shift will not keep up with the demand of service and for that a 3 star was awarded to include the scallops, terrible combo and should be re evaluated in a seafood restaurant. Perhaps a tiny thin strip of beacon as opposed to full beacon strip may be an option, just dont kill the expensive exotic desired flavor of scallops this way.

Did not care much for the service. The waiter kept telling us the prices for the meal. I ordered steak and lobster meal. He told me the price before telling us what the meal consisted of. Very off-putting. I wanted to leave, but as I offered to take my mates out it would have been too embarrassing for them. Very poor service. I always praise the Americans on quality service. Not this time

Pat (bartender) was our server and he did a fantastic job. He went over the days specials and advised that we could order the calamari without the banana peppers (disgusting). I had the mariners feast with mash and side Ceasar. Everything was cooked perfectly. He made sure everything came out okay and that drinks were filled. Thanks Pat for making today a great lunch.

The table was still dirty and everything greasy. Wouldn’t honor any of my reward points after 6 prior visits and our waiter didn’t know what to do and walked away, so we left. Why have a Reward Program if you don’t honor it? Jensen Beach US1 location. Someone reached out to us and wanted me to return so they could make up on our bad experience. So my wife replied to their request and haven’t heard back from Red Lobster. Jerry T.
