Really great. Came here looking for some pierogis and left very happy with a variety of their food. I believe i got what is basically a smaple platter with pierogis sausage and a syew. Let me tell you the bigos is amazing the pierogis were delicious and the sausage was great. I still crave the bigos. So good.

North-Central European authentic. This place is the real deal. I lived in Germany for over a decade and worked in Poland. When I miss these places I go to Polka.

This place would be successful in Poland. Their beer selection is great and the fact of a deli next door with European bread! Makes this place a rare find. Worth a drive to try if you never have been to Germany, Poland or Eastern Europe.

On a Kirk scale with:

1,2,3 being sustenance only and
4,5,6,7 being lower to upper "industrial" food and
8,9,10 being " artisanal" highest quality;

Polka gets an 8.

Great food, very good selection of European beers. Daniel our server was very good ( really liked his beer selections) . Everything we tried was very good, pork and veal schnitzel, cabbage rolls, and pickle soup. Nice relaxed atmosphere and we felt so welcomed by the owners. My new favorite is Polka !! This place is bound to go places!! Can't wait to come back!!

Pretty darn good.. I've never had Polish food before so I got the large Polish Plate and the deli appetizer plate so I could try some variety. The deli appetizer plate really wasn't anything worth paying so much for, or exotic, and I think you'd be better off just buying some stuff from the deli on your own. The Polish Plate was quite good. I never knew Pierogies could be so good. I also learned I really, really like Bigos ("Hunter's Stew".) This isn't what I would consider "summer food", but on a cold day this is really good!

The restaurant was clean and the service friendly although it was dead when we were there. It was late January when we went but Christmas music was still playing. I found it a little odd, but hey, the food made up for it!

WE LOVE POLKA!!!!!!!!. LOVE this restaurant...and it's deli also. My husband is from Europe, and I have lived in Europe. We were so delighted to find Polka, we are so tired of the same usual boring local restaurants!!!! Polka's menu is fabulous, and the food is all homemade and beautifully served. I always thought my red cabbage was the best until I tried Polka's....they win!!!!! And the sauerkraut is also wonderful....with the kilbasa, HEAVEN!! Like being in Europe. The owners are lovely people, they went out of their way to make our visit special. Surprised my son with a birthday cake, and made him borchst specially on his request. My son LOVES their chicken cutlets, best he has ever had. This restaurant is like a little visit to Europe, owners and staff are just the NICEST people, and their Deli next door is like a European Alladin's Cave of treasures......GO!!! ENJOY!!!!! You will be coming back and telling your family and friends to do so also. Lunch or dinner, you will be joining us in saying " WE LOVE POLKA" !!!!!!

My husband and I have eaten here several times in the past few months. It is so good!!! Cannot believe I haven't written review until now. Everything we have tried has been wonderful, but seem to always want Golabki (stuffed cabbage), Pierogi (love the mushroom and sauerkraut) and mushroom soup. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great service! Worth a try if you are looking for something different in the area.

This place is awesome! Fantastic food, whether you're looking for traditional European fare (including their kraut and their Pelmenis, which are pictured), or (in my humble opinion) the best damn Philly cheese steak on the market (made with freshly cut meats right from their deli meat case, and yes bell peppers, because arguing a Philly with peppers isn't traditional is like arguing the three point line in basketball isn't traditional... You're technically correct, but any individual with properly functioning sensory organs, whether we're talking about taste buds or eyeballs, would be greatly disappointed if you gave them the "traditional" version of either). A good number of German, Polish, Belgian, and even Lithuanian beer on tap, plus the deli/groceries side of the business has even more beers in bottles/cans, including some Polish Baltic porters I have in my fridge and can't wait to try. To top it all off the owner is super friendly and accommodating. Very willing to explain the different dishes and beverages they have available. Will definitely be back.

Hidden Gem in Martin County For an authentic taste of Eastern Europe, Polka is a must visit. Wherever you are in Martin County it is worth driving to Polka!!! A mini-market with an impressive assortment of imported cold cuts, sweets, beer and canned goods featuring a dinning area where you can delight in home cooked authentic Polish and German dishes and mouth watering deserts 🎂🥮🍥🍰. Ana will attend to you with a warm, friendly smile and make you feel as if you are visit an old friend. The owners are working side by side providing outstanding service, Old World style. If you're born in Eastern Europe and miss grandma's cooking, Polka is a great substitute. And the adventurous, multi cultural American will feel as if they traveled to Europe without getting on a plane!!! Go eat, shop, enjoy!!!!

Absolutely delicious! We've been coming here for a while now and it's great each and every time. Beers from all over the world plus great homemade food! Definitely try the Hunters Stew plus Kraut and onions! Plenty of different options for even the pickiest of eaters! A must visit if you're looking for some different!

Great place to get central and eastern European food. The best selection of deli meats including smoked sausages (kabanosy, mysliwska, krakowska). They have the best poppy seed cake in Florida. You must try bread, a few different kinds, my favorite is wheat and rye bread, often still too warm to be sliced.

First time here. Had the hot smoked sausage I like and the hand cheese...The German hand cheese that is. Many canned and jarred selections and a small dining area with sandwiches and some hot food offered. Good price for the sausage and will go back. Only caveat, the coolers are rather high and your presence should be announced as it wasn't obvious I was there to order.

Unassuming restaurant. I'd suggest the Polka Plate. It comes with "Hunter's Stew" (minced Polish sauerkraut, sausage, plum, mushrooms, carrots), 3 pierogis and a small delicious kielbasa. Their desserts are great, not as sweet as we (Americans) are used to. Good service by the ladies. The gentleman's could be improved.

What a authentic Polish grocery store and restaurant. Omg. I loved it, their homemade pierogies were awesome. And their cheesecake was good. And of course great polish beer. Check it out you will love it even if you're not Polish.
