This place is a must-go if you're in the area! Excellent fried chicken, shrimp, and yes, boudin.
The gumbo was not what I was hoping for, too watered down and soupy. It lost all of the character and richness of the roux it appears to be started with.
Now the boudin was delicious, the mild was tasty but that spicy was perfect. If you are wanting to try it or have had boudin for years, this place is worth checking out. Prices are fair too and we’ll worth the money.
The boudin is hot and ready to go! Super clean kitchen and they can wrap up as many pounds as you need. We absolutely love the mild boudin. It has a smoked, savory flavor not overpowering. Once you try it , you’ll be addicted!
Been coming here since I was knee high, amazing food and can't beat any of it! It's definitely a gem and small town hidden secret that is a must visit place!
Been going here since I was five years old and the building has not changed a bit. Feels like I go back into time everytime I go. The food still has the same taste and I love the fried catfish and boudin.
