Review River's End Restaurant - Jenner

The River's End is a peaceful oasis away from the everyday hustle. It was so nice to get away and disconnect in a tranquil environment. The views of the Russian River and Pacific Ocean from the cabin were stunning. The room was clean and inviting. The restaurant is top-notch. There is a true kitchen "brigade" that leaves nothing to chance in providing an exceptional meal, and the service was second to none. We highly recommend River's End and plan to disconnect there again soon.

The River's End Restaurant is one of the top places in the Bodega Bay/Jenner area for fine dining in a casual setting. The views are gorgeous and the food was very good. Especially try anything fresh caught on the menu. My halibut on black rice with a lemongrass broth was wonderful and so was the fresh fettuccini with prawns and mushrooms. Service was very attentive but not obtrusive. This is definitely a place to consider if you are staying in the area.

This was our first time staying in Jenner for us and we could not have been happier! We stayed in the Oceana house and it was wonderful and clean. We enjoyed the hot tub, the fire pit and the back patio. The views of the river, mouth of the ocean and goat rock were fantastic! We had lunch and dinners at the restaurant and were very pleased with all of the staff and the food! Great cocktails too! We will be back!

We are in love with River’s End! I have eaten here a handful of times and the food is just absolutely delicious and everything so fresh! We stayed in the Perch cabin for 2 nights, (first time stay) for our anniversary. It was absolutely perfect- quiet, beautiful, scenic from our deck. The people here are the friendliest and most professional and fun waiter Rick who really knows his wine and great recommendations for everything all around. One of the staff members ( Cindy? ) even called to check on what places were open for breakfast on our stay. We would definitely love to come stay again- the food is fabulous , but the staff are exceptional. We felt so welcome and comfortable here. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you SO much!

What a wonderful, magical 24 hours! We started our stay with a cocktail out on the deck of the restaurant.. what a beautiful view of the river and ocean. Then we went to our beautiful, cozy cabin overlooking the river/ocean where we just relaxed on our private deck and enjoyed the sun and peaceful setting. Dinner was amazing at the restaurant and we went out kayaking the next morning where we encountered countless seals and birds. Definitely will come again!

A bit out of the way but we wanted to watch the sunset - despite it being a foggy day - the timing for the sunset was perfect. The food (duck breast, halibut and oysters) was outstanding as it has been every time we have been there. The service was just as outstanding! Certainly recommend for a dinner at sunset!

Have been to the restaurant several times over the years, and glad to find on our recent visit the quality remains top notch. Simple but highly enjoyable dishes with unique flavors. Somewhat pricey, but worth it. Rare to find great food with a great view. Staff is impeccably professional and friendly. Only downer is that the coffee is consistently terrible. Keep meaning to see how they ruin good coffee, as Goat Rock coffee is pretty decent, but always bitter and nasty tasting here.

We stayed at Rivers End for a birthday celebration and it was a very romantic get away. We were in room 5 and the view from the room and deck was amazing. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was everything we wished for plus more. Our room was in the same building as the restaurant so after dinner it was very convenient being just steps away from our room. In the morning we walked to a coffee shop. The restaurant was amazing. The service was top notch. Great cocktail menu and good beer selection. The roasted tomato salad was fresh and nicely presented. The balsamic was just the right accent. I had the seared tuna salad and Jen had the fresh salmon. Both were outstanding. The location offers great views.

The Perch Cabin was situated on a hill with an outstanding view of the Pacific. The room was cozy, the bed was comfortable, and it was clean., however, it could use a bit of updating. The sunset was amazing and it was very peaceful with a full moon night. However, as much as I love the peace, I will not return because I was uncomfortable with no cell service and no wifi. This is mentioned on their website, but I incorrectly assumed that there would be wifi for a fee or available up in the lobby area. We could not get a hold of the owners to ask questions nor connect to get information. We enjoyed the time we were there but it may not appeal to everyone.

This is a beautiful place and would love to stay and eat here! Unfortunately the restaurant was closed but the owner's brother was there and brought my friend and in to look around. If the service is this kind and accommodating, I give 5 stars! I trust the food and drinks follow suit!

This was a great cabin with unbelievable views of the Russian River as it goes back and forth into and out of the Pacific Ocean! The cabin was built in 1927 and we enjoyed watching the pelicans going back and forth on the inlet. The restaurant was outstanding and also had great views also. We will definitely be back.

We had a very lovely dinner at River's End. The Duck Confit rolls never disappoint, the Salmon was excellent and the tomato sallad was delicious. A magnificent sunset rounded it all out. A perfect evening.

We stayed at the Headlands House at the River's End Inn this past week. It was a delightful experience. The home was thoughtfully designed with exceptional details and comfort. The views from inside and outside on the deck are beautiful. We experienced the almost full moon reflected in the Russian River estuary. The main living area includes a seating area with a comfortable sofa/chaise combo and a wall mounted TV. It also has a full featured kitchen, including deluxe cookware, Nescafe machine and built in refrigerator drawers. A small dishwasher is also included. The bathroom is well appointed and features a wonderful walk in shower with a head height window view to the hillside. The bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed, luxe linens and pillows, and a view to the river and coastline below thanks to the glass railings on the deck outside. There is also plenty of storage in the built in closet with organizers. We also enjoyed cocktails and a delicious dinner at the River's End Restaurant, just a short 3 minute walk from our room. The wait staff are warm, welcoming and very knowledgeable. Our dinners were outstanding. I had the pasta with prawns, homemade fettuccini with garlic cream and truffle oil, and large tender perfectly prepared prawns. My girlfriend had the Southwestern Salmon. So good! Don't miss the creme brulee for dessert! My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will definitely be returning.

What a wonderfully cute restaurant. The food was top-notch and perfect for vegans and vegetarians. They supposedly have amazing cla. Chowder (my friend raved about it), and the local beer was pretty tasty as well. The view of the hills and the river was gorgeous.

a nice comfortable room with spectacular view. restaurant was overpriced, service poor, food mediocre. there was no one to assist us when we arrived but did run into Gabriel Rangel. He was very helpful, welcoming and interesting. thanks Gabe!
