La Chica Loca

Portion size leaves you hungry and wanting more. I really wanna like this place, small locally owned, good quality ingredients, friendly people. But there are a few things I just can't get past: The quantity of what you get borders on tiny, I'm a 165lb male and I was still very hungry after eating my burrito (see pic sunglasses for size reference). Compared to similar places like Pancheros/Chipotle La Chica Loca is maybe 60% of the size. The taste is good but not what I would think of when ordering a burrito, I got the chicken (heavy taste of cumin?) which was tasty but had almost no spice to it even after adding some of their medium avacado salsa from their salsa bar. Might be a small gripe but burrito seemed hastily wrapped almost coming apart and very messy, almost needed a fork, definitely needed tons of napkins. Price...I know everything is going up in cost right now but for $10.75 for a burrito I really expected A LOT more. If there was an option for 3.5⭐ I'd give it simply based on the small portions compared to price.

6 stars! My new favorite restaurant of Jefferson City! Excellent and easy online ordering system with curbside pickup available. Fantastic made from scratch, flavorful, and savory food with incredible sauces. We enjoyed the tacos and various burrito bowls. The Mango Lassi smoothie was absolutely delicious. Nice indoor seating and a few outdoor tables and chairs. Friendly service. Street parking only.

BRO. This place is UH-MAZE-ING!!! The food is UNBELIEVABLY good. Eating their food is like that one Yo Gabba Gabba episode where they’re like “There’s a party in my tummy, there’s a party in my tummy!” And don’t get me started on the chicken quesadillas, those will literally make you cry they’re so good. If could give this place a million stars I would. “This food gives me serotonin” - Birdie Forck 2022
