Biscotti Brothers Bakery

I have had two bridal shower cakes made by Biscotti Bakery. Both cakes were so pretty in the presentation and absolutely delicious. I am a regular shopper, every other week at their bakery, always delicious, always fresh. So appreciate their bakery especially when I am having company and want a special and delicious dessert.

Disappointed. Purchased a Burnt Almond Torte Cake here on Sunday around noon for a birthday party later in the day. Cake looked great. However, the inner layers were frozen, which was not apparent until trying to slice 6 hours after purchasing. The cake never was refrigerated from purchase to cutting, which means it was frozen and obviously not freshly made. Called the store on Monday (today), speaking to a manager, and was told that they sometimes freeze cakes as they are too busy to make all fresh, especially over a weekend (basically, a sorry but that's life). If this was communicated prior to purchase, I wouldn't have purchased, especially considering the purchase price. Won't be purchasing any cakes from this bakery going forward, especially with their staff hiding this detail from customers.

Absolutely excellent! Fantastic bakes goods, breads, biscotti, pies, cakes, cookies and desserts. All very fresh and high quality. Very reasonable prices for the quality of the foods. Around holidays make sure to shop early as the selection sells out fast! Highly recommended...always make sure to stop on the way home from Pittsburgh.
