Even though I grew up in the area this was the first time I've ever been to The Nest. I think my parents always saved it for themselves, leaving us kids at home. Now I know why. Spectacular staff. I had the cucumber spritzer which was delicious. Very good appetizers and the cocktail sauce was spicy in a good way. Everything was fabulous, lobster was tender, shrimps were big and juicy, and the scallops were delicate and melt in your mouth.

Went here for Valentines Day. The food was delicious, especially the caramel apple pie. What was most impressive, though, was the service. Every course came out with perfect timing, exactly as we ordered. Even on a busy holiday night, we were seated exactly at our reserved time, and didn’t have to wait long for service or food. Can’t wait to go back.

My experience wasn't what was expected. The food was par and the service was a joke. For the price you pay there should be a high expectation for service and the plate presentation should atleast presentable. If you want a restaurant with high standards and great service and even better food this is not the place for you. I recommend The Venue if your looking for great seafood and steak in the area. I feel a restaurant that has plates priced as they do should have the rest to match.

Me and my husband seen a sign for this place on the highway and decided to give it a try. Let me say the food was excellent and the service was exceptional. . The prices were reasonable. This place definitely was a secret to me as I pride myself to going to the best top notch restaurants. This has passed everyone of the downtown Pittsburgh restaurants.

I cannot say enough about The Nest.....the best food and service!!! Everything we've gotten has been delicious and their lobster is delectable! A big shout out to our waitress Kelly. She makes your dining experience a time to remember! Thank you Kelly!!

Waitress was excellent but matradee very rude. I would not recommend the veal or seafood unless maybe fresh water fish. Very fishy smell,like a fish market but overcooked lobster,scallops and shrimp. Was not impressed but it's off the bucket list and I truly don't know why it gets the raves, I guess the people up north never had "real seafood", except Boston...now they know lobster...believe me you should be seeing and hearing the lobster if it's "fresh".

Great service, great atmosphere. Not too busy on a Friday. Food was a little bland and a bit pricy for the area but worth a return visit.
