J22 is located in Jamestown oyster old location. We enjoyed the local oyster, and my tuna poke was excellent. It was different from other tuna pokes I had in the past, but it was very tasty and creative. J22 has two outdoor tables, and we were lucky to get one. Nice pleasant wind with a view of the water - it was perfect.

Amazing food options, like WOW. Beer options were great. Waitress made excellent recommendations for beer for our large party. I love their cumin take on toasted bread.

Awesome vibes. Great bar service from Kelsey. Great place. Chef has great taste in music. When the bartenderess asks you what you want, you need to tell her the whole The I Don't Know What I Want, But Can You Make Me Something Different And Sweet. Lol

A truly original take on "New England clam chowder." DELICIOUS. Bang bang shrimp very tasty. Beer and wine selection good. Nice service.

Not worth it. Beer comes in small glasses and is really expensive. My husband's burger was a mess and undercooked (picture). I got 4 fried oysters that were the size of marbles for $16. We spent a combined $50 and left unsatisfied, wishing the bar across the street wasn't so packed because we ate there before and it was way better.
UPDATE: It's 3am and my husband is in the bathroom in serious pain, with what appears to be food poisoning. He only had a few bites of the burger, good thing he didn't have more.

At first glance J22 Tap and Table looked like it was going to be a great experience, but it rapidly went south. Service was slow 🐌, food was hit and miss if it were even available that night. Not the dinner experience I was hoping for.

Awesome small town feel. The chef was offering a fish special based on his curiosity about a certain species. (He told us while we were seated at the bar watching him prepare. ) The fish did not disappoint!
