Pretty dam good food.... prices average but serving size compensates for price. Jamestown NY finally a Chinese place I really enjoy good job. Yep I'm a foodie.

Alright, the food itself was pretty good but the inside was dimly lit for me when we got the takeout buffet. It was somewhat sketchy to me at first. Today however I ordered fresh lo mein for lunch and picked it up half an hour ago, OMG really good. If you want a really really good buffet go to Sakura, but fresh this takes the win. They've got ice cold pop cans and water etc for drinks at a good price. Works great for me as a blue collar worker 😊

I ordered for delivery and I got a lot of food for the price I paid. I feed 3 ten age boys and myself for $30.00. And had left overs for lunch the next day for them. Plus it only took 26 mins. To get my order to me.

My go to when I'm feeling the craving and want a quick and cheap sit down buffet. It's a fairly small buffet with moderate space for seating. Inside is clean and relaxed. Serves up the typical Chinese restaurant goods. No sushi though. Certainly not the best in the area but the food is good and for the price and convenience its definitely worth a visit. Price to eat is pretty cheap ($6 or $7 for all you can eat). Take out prices are very reasonable as well. Accepts cash and card and there is plenty of room for parking.

We went for lunch on a Friday and it wasn't too crowded but busy enough so that the buffet was refreshed often with our favorite dishes. We love the crab Rangoon here and the spring rolls are great too. All buffet foods are labeled so you know what you're choosing. The staff keep your beverages filled without asking. A very convenient place for a meal at any time.

I wanted to give 5 stars because I've had good experiences here. They have low prices, and considering that, you shouldn't expect the finest. However, the last time I went, the food was subpar. My noodle dish featured badly broken noodles with little meat. I also had a chicken dish featuring "chicken" that was deep fried batter of some sort with apparently no chicken inside.
Withstanding inconsistent quality, the Oriental Star provides great service and excellent pricing including low-price specials.
