Born and raised in Queens NY from Peruvian🇵🇪 descendants, at times my palate gets bored eating any kind of international Latin dishes. Was craving curry and came across BLAZE718, use to pick up a lot of deliveries from here and decided to give it a try today. Ordered the goat curry with rice and beans and the cabbage veggies I think , asked for some platano to go with that and the lady at the counter hooked it up (forgot to ask her name ) . Came home and ate this amazing plate, the seasoning was good, meat cooked well it melts in your mouth. Gravy was the best part for me got to taste it very well. Great job BLAZE718, can’t wait to try that COW FEET CURRY 👍👅🔥. Come and try it out for yourself

Special thanks to Kim and the entire Blaze 718 staff. My husband and I placed a catering order for our Baby Shower specificly for the bake mac and cheese and rice and peas. We order from here all the time and just needed the sides to compliment our entrees for a guestlist of 166. The ordering process was seemless, upon arrival for pick up our order was ready, price was reasonable, presentation was great. Our guests are still in owe. A few days later Kim checked in to make sure all went well, talk about service :) Thank you so much once again 🙏🏽

Blaze food is delicious. The mango jerk wings are phenomenal. The mac & cheese has the perfect amount of cheese and noodles and it’s not overly salted. The potato salad is not sweet like I’m used to but it was tasty. It was more like mashed potatoes with carrots and corn. I did not like the Blaze pasta it was to sweet but I’ve tasted many of the food dishes here and aside from the pasta everything is good. They give a nice size food portion. During delivery they also call if they sell out of an item.

Okay, so... this place has some of the most tender, succulent Oxtails EVER! I'm not sure why this place has gotten such poor reviews. The food is really good (especially the Rasta Pasta) and the staff is relatively friendly (relative to the MILLIONS of Jamaican spots in NYC where being rude is basically a rite of passage :/). I recently had an issue with them regarding my order (which is why they're getting 4/5 instead of 5), but they fixed it. Otherwise, I've had no major issues here and will return.

I came across this establishment and was in the need of something cold to drink. From outside it's very clean and once inside, the flavorful aromas of spices enticed my taste buds. But, Im on my way to work and wouldn't be able to enjoy my food if I'm to purchase so another day for food. However, their homemade natural juices got me interested and I tried their cucumber ginger juice & was sold! The fresh flavors combined so effortlessly to make this great healthy drink option and it's genius. 😏I didn't know that cucumbers can make a drink and still have it's own identity. It's fresh, refreshing and healthy! Yes... Definitely give Blaze 718 a try. I know I'll definitely be back later for dinner

The only thing I like from here is the Blaze pasta. There was one time I ordered it and they didn't put enough sauce. That's the only time I had a bad experience. I only order delivery so I can not say about the restaurant

This restaurant is around the corner from my grandfather’s place, so I decided to order from here while I was visiting him. I was highly surprised at how good the food was. I had sweet and spicy chicken with rice and peas. I also ordered rasta pasta with jerk chicken for him and he loved it. I would definitely recommend Blaze. Real authentic Jamaican food!

First time ordering from them. I was having my hair done and was very hungry and wanted good Jamaican food. Blaze came right up. I got oxtails OMG they were amazing, and cooked very well. Hugs too the cook for putting nothing but love into because with every bite I took that is what I was getting home cook meal. I have had oxtail before but not like this, I am very hooked and will be coming in person too order. Thank you.

Absolutely amazing spot. Blaze is my new go to spot for the most authentic Jamaican experience in the area. Where food, service, and customer experience is concerned, they are absolutely in a league of their own! In short, the food is DELECTABLE! If i had to choose to eat from one spot for the rest of my life, this would be it. I recon you try the stew chicken with beans and rice; go for the oxtails if you are in the mood for something different. I 10/10 would recommend this spot to anyone reading this.

This is a fairly new restaurant, but they are doing things on point! When you enter it's a very bright and clean space. Lots of food and drink items to choose from. I ordered the jerk chicken with steamed vegetables and a side of festivals. The festivals are made to order, and were fresh, hot and tasty. The chicken was good as well and the steam veggies were not soggy or over-cooked. The server was also pleasant, and answered all questions I had. I plan to be back soon!
