Finally was able to eat here with friends that came to visit from California. Great breakfast and amazing atmosphere! Our waitress Taylor went above and beyond for us and our special requests! Weather was perfect to sit out on the patio. We cleaned off our plates !!!!!

I just left this Cafe and I was preparing to leave a great review before I even left. It is the hottest day we've had so far this year (105°) so I came in for a cold drink & a lite bite. I ordered a root beer and a breakfast sandwich (they serve breakfast only all day on Sundays) the young waitress was so nice, energetic, accommodating, and personable without being fake, overly sweet, or annoying I made sure I got change for a tip by the time I paid for my TO GO sandwich. That's about 90 seconds. In 90 seconds I decided I'd give a $3 tip on a $9 order. That's how pleased I was. Then as I waited, the other waitress was busy restocking things and someone came in to be seated and she was just LOVELY!! Then I asked another waitress for some ice water in addition to my rootbeer. She happily got it for me. I asked how much I owed her and she told me, oh, ice water is free dear!! 😁💖🥰 then I went outside, took a photo and back to my craft booth where I sat and started to eat my food. OMG! Best bacon I've ever had. Crazy good bacon & egg sandwich! I should have left $5!!! I highly recommend this place! ANY TIME! EVEN JUST FOR A COLD DRINK! This is a testament to the owner and the training. Hats off to the ladies!!! Thank you for being you! Super impressed !👏🏼 👌🏼🙌🏽👍🏼!

Our group of 7 had breakfast here. It was great, staff were awesome, food was good. My group all had good things to say. Indoor seating was limited but there is a good amount of outdoor seating. I would recommend trying this place anytime you are in town.

My husband and I just had breakfast here ! Great food, very healthy. The female owner was training a new worker and she treated him very well. I love to see that because it speaks very well about the business. Conclusion: food was delicious and wonderful environment!!

We visited Jacksonville after placing our home on the market. Breakfast seemed to be a necessary matter to attend to after camping along the Applegate River. I had a classic breakfast - Leslie had a delicious omelet. Phoebe, our dog was able to join us on the patio. Yummy!

I have always enjoyed the food I buy at The Mustard Seed. The restaurant is just blocks from where I live. And I have been satisfied if not always thrilled with what I have eaten there. When I discovered the classic patty melt sandwich on their menu that became my favorite. I order it to go and take it home still hot and enjoy yummm.
Today I was so disappointed! I almost cried. What ARE YOU THINKING, Mustard Seed cook? A traditional Patty Melt sandwich is hamburger patty, melted cheese and grilled onions on RYE BREAD.
First this sandwich was on an oval bun (a hoggy?) , was sliced or chopped beef Not Hamburger and No cheese. Though it had onions. A patty melt sandwich should be like a grilled cheese on Rye bread combined with a delicious hamburger. Your patty melt had none of the traditional ingredients of a classic patty melt sandwich .

Cute little restaurant with outdoor seating. Buffalo blue salad was crisp and the chicken was tender and crunchy. Buffalo sauce was not overly spicy.

Just had the most wonderful experience at this cafe. The place’s unique decor is entertaining and the food is on point. But what really stuck out about this place was the staff and service that we and everyone that came in received. We will definitely be back!!!

Great outdoor seating and food! We were traveling through Oregon during a hot spell and had our dog with us. We hate eating fast food simply because we have the dog with us and looked for an outdoor setup. The waitress brought cold, fresh water for him and he was very happy. He loves traveling with us.

I love this restaurant I come here all the time. The food is great and servers are always nice. The location is right in the heart of beautiful Jacksonville. I recommend coming on a nice sunny day and sitting outside in the beautiful patio area.

Such a wonderful little place to have breakfast. My husband and I visit at least once a month and we always enjoy the delicious food and amazing staff. Everyone is always so friendly, and all of the food is fresh with that "home made" feeling. The pricing is on point, and the portions are too. Not too much, not too little. I am so grateful to have the Mustard Seed right down the way in Jacksonville. :)
