Food was good, but servers will hustle you. I ordered food to go, the stuff hashbrowns and blueberry pancakes and was billed $20 and my food was incorrect. When i called to advise my food was incorrect and to see why my bill was so high, I got much attitude. The menu has the stuffed hashbrowns $7.29 and blueberry pancakes $4.99. I was informed when added together my bill was $18 with tax. I will not be going back because of service alone, and my math is different than theirs.

Cook was yelling at customers and waitresses about putting down waffles. Eggs tasted like burned oil. Worst French toast. Waitress was great

The staff was short handed but still got our orders very quickly and courteously. There was a minor mistake with one of our orders. But it was corrected quickly. The staff there did a fantastic job handling the rush like they did with as few as there was.

In the last few weeks this place has went downhill extremely fast. We got our drinks fast and it was over 30 minutes before we were able to flag our waitress down to order. The restaurant was not crowded. It was a good 20 minutes for our food to come to the table. When I mentioned to the waitress that I would like to have my pancake that never came and a drink refil, she took my glass and returned 17 minutes later with the pancake. The drink never showed up. The plate appearance of the food was poor at best but the meal was good.

Huddle house is great for breakfast anytime of the day and if you want dinner at 6 in the morning well you can have that too. This morning I had the garden omelet and it was pretty darn good. The only thing I dont like about HH in Jville is the fact that people smoke inside. I dont think it should be allowed

We ate there last night. My first comment after reading a bunch of the reviews is this: If you don't like cigarette smoke, go somewhere else! This is the LAST restaurant in Jacksonville that has the required circulation equipment to allow smoking. There have got to be 20+ other restaurants where you won't be "exposed" to my smoke. When I go into another restaurant, I don't smoke so leave us alone at Huddle House! Go hit up Waffle House, right down the road.
The food was excellent (as usual). The service was a little poor, but after watching for a few minutes the reason became obvious...they had only one waitress working in the whole place! That's management's problem, not hers.
I take my grandchildren there...they love it, even if Grandma does have a cigarette or two while waiting for our meal!

You can’t eat there if you are bothered by cigarette smoke. It is overwhelming and hits you as soon as you walk in the door. Just disgusting.

10/28th 12:00 noon - 12:40pm. The kids and I a 10 year old and a seven-year- old decided to go and get something to eat from the local Huddle House we got there three other families came in with us one in front and one behind after 40 minutes and asking to have my order taken she comes back and asked me what was my order because she didn't put it in and she did not even have it. I think 40 minutes is long enough to take a f****** order!!! I don't like pulling the race card so I'm not going to point out the fact that it was only two black families in there and I was one who did not get her order ticket after two families that came in after us already had their food and we're almost done eating at the point when she asked me for my order again. And the b**** had the nerve to tell me have a good day when I decided to get up and leave and take my children somewhere else to eat. Pathetic service if you can't handle your job you don't need it I will be calling your headquarters this will not go without someone giving me an apology that I deserve. What got me was that she was actually going to ring me up for the three drinks that were still full!

I was ask to leave for filling up my own drink that's all I did not say anything to anyone just was thirsty and she got tore out of frame because she could not do her job she was to busy in the back with some older gentlemen I have no clue what they where doing but she could not even bring us our food the cook had to then got bent out of shape because I refilled mine and my sons Dr Pepper she told me if I did that again I would have to leave but got mad when I told her I would not have refill our drinks if you would do your job if I understand correctly that's what she's suppose to do is wait on people not go in the back room with older men for long periods of time by the way she never refilled our drinks the first time we had been there for about 30 mins
