Review Cm Smoke Artisan Bbq - Jacksonville

My first time to visit this establishment was Friday May 4th 2019 Arrived 7:00 pm served appetizer of cracklins at 7:45 pm. Before walking into the restaurant I was greated with a sign stating that help is needed. entry into the restaurant no one was being greeted and there were many tables to from and which to be seated was a total of 28 people including myself dining at the restaurant at the time. The ordering process took 20 minutes including drinks. The following items were not available on tonight menu: potatoes, corn fritters, collard greens. This establishment was clean. The atmosphere has a bluesy type feel, with high ceilings and track lighting. Light gray Block walls and dark wooden tables and chairs with ceiling fans above the tables. The music playing was a blues mix. If you want a cold beer you can get on here keg or bottle A visit to the restroom proved to be a clean one. ***** Sweet tea tasted lightly sweetened. Diet coke mixed right. Sprite was mixed right. (NO STRAWS Offered) on any drinks. Appetizer served at 7:40 pm of cracklings proved to be very flavourful.***** If you like cracklins you should give these a try. You have a choice of 8 different BBQ sauces but only (6) we're available during this visit. We received our order at 7:57 pm with two out of the three dishes being incorrect. We did receive silverware and straws after asking. The restaurant closes at 8 pm. I ordered a porky pie and it was decent . ** Pulled pork was dry and tough.* Pinto Beans tasted watered down and could use much more flavor.* Total Cost on this trip was $ 42.00! Second Visit: 05-17-2019 time 5:35pm Ordered a jumbo pork BBQ Steak fries ( they were out of curly fries) And Fries Okra Drink was a craft beer called Lost Forty (2) 12 oz Glass whice was served a bit warm... No frosted glasses for beer😕 Service was good ***** Food was good *** (No Spuds Cornbread, Piggy Curly Fries were available tonight.) Restaurant is clean Restroom was clean Food was Decent Tonights rating. *** Total cost including tip $26.42

Editing my review because you never know if the place is going to be open. Sign says closed on Monday, but they are also closed on Sunday, and apparently any other day they feel like it. Went by there one night at 6:30 and they were closing down because business was slow! Finally found a place in Arkansas to get REAL, properly cooked, sliced beef brisket! Lots of choices for sides and BBQ sauce. They also sell beer, which is a big deal here! Several good size TVs also. And it's like a tardis, bigger on the inside.

I usually don't leave reviews, but I miss everything about this place from the service to the atmosphere to the food. And, OMG THE FOOD! I never went wrong with ordering anything from the menu; it was all good which was a God's honest miracle that the whole family (I have youngins) had no complaints! Lol I truly hope they come back soon. Best place to eat in Jacksonville!

People are great. The pork is awesome, some of the best I can remember. Sides were decent but not the best. Prices are a bit steep. 12 bucks for lunch and a drink.

First time eating here stopped in to have lunch with my daughter. Unique menu, great atmosphere, very friendly service, and good bbq!! They have several sauces on the table. #4 honey bourbon was delicious!! Also tried #3 and #6 both were very good! Definitely will be back

They have the best BBQ around! I absolutely loved the baked beans and potato salad. All of it so full of flavor. I loved it so much that I went and picked up my father and took him by there for lunch too. I can't wait to try other items on the menu.

So Delicious! I was in town and looking for some good barbecue. Looked at various Google reviews and this one stood out. I was not disappointed. I got the combination platter with pork butt, ribs, and brisket. I thought the brisket was out of this world! Probably the best I've had. It was so flavorful and tender. The pork butt was good as well as the ribs. But the brisket was definitely my favorite. Good variety of different barbecue sauces. About 7. Wait staff was friendly. Someplace I will definitely visit again next time I'm in the Little Rock area!

Good food overall. I couldn't taste the smoke in the pork or even see a smoke ring, but wasn't bad. Cole slaw was very bland. Spicy beans were decent, but I added some good ole BBq sauce and made them better. They have 8 sauces to choose from. All were pretty good so just depends on your taste profile or where you are from. Price was a bit high for what seemed like a lunch portion, speaking of lunch they only offer one lunch special. Today was chicken and I rarely get chicken at a BBQ place. All in all I would come back.

By far, the very best BBQ in Jacksonville. The best since Leroy's closed their doors years ago. I had a Jumbo brisket sandwich and found the meat alone very tasty, smoke flavored - without any sauce on it. Since the brisket was that tasty, I had to try their pulled pork. It was divine and very tasty. It is so worth a visit. You will not be disappointed.

The best bbq in central Arkansas. The service/staff is excellent & the environment with blues playing in the background. Then you get to eat best smoked, pulled or very tender brisket. Safe a little room for the family recipe desserts. Can't wait for Saturday. If you have not eaten at CM Smoke what are you waiting. Go in there & be sure to check for different daily Specials! ���

First trip around we had the pulled beef ., fried okra and collard greens .. very tasty 😋 the service is awesome Second time around I had the frito pie and I must say it was delish . Again the service was nice and for dessert we had banana pudding. Definitely a place I will visit a lot and I recommend for you to check it out . 😋😊😃

Great food with great service. There is a nice big dining room, bluesy music playing, smoky bbq with all of the fixings, homemade desserts, sweet tea and beer on tap. They have tv’s for sports with a homey feel. This is a fun place to eat alone or with a group!

Every time I visit Jacksonville (I live in Chicago, but my children/grandchildren live in Jacksonville/Cabot), I have to go to CM Smoke. The food is amazing, and I really love the choices of bbq sauce. The wait staff are wonderful, and they always take such good care of our large family! My son really loves the big meat platter when sausage is available - he hates chicken, and the rest of us enjoy the ribs and wonderful sandwiches or meat platters.

Mm best BBQ I've ever had! Hands down! Those greens are heavenly and the owner is so incredibly nice! I love to see an owner who is passionate and involved! Affordable and worth every penny! We will without a doubt be adding them to our rotation!!! They are all so warm and welcoming!!

Me and Shelia tried this place out last Friday 14th, Great BBQ. I like the artisan sauces they have. Very unique. We both had the Jumbo pulled pork. Great smoke flavor! Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

This place is awesome! We’ve been about 5 times now and they have never disappointed us. Great food, service, atmosphere and has a Memphis blues feel to it!

We used CM Smoke Artisian BBQ to cater a large event for us. We chose their smoked brisket and it went over really well. The owner and wife are very nice and accommodating to work with your needs. After retiring from the bbq business myself this is definitely my next stop if I'm not smoking it myself! Great service, great owners and just a great place to dine.

I had 2 very hungry men who were working on remodeling the bathroom. So I g ot them each a full rack of rubs, cole slaw, and mac and cheese. They were licking the bones clean! This was one guys first time having CM Smoke BBQ and he commented on how "this is better than Whole Hog or any of the others! Man, they are the best!" Highly recommend!

We loved it nice clean place food good the ribs are to die for they fried pork rinds delicious we loved it TVs atmosphere nice can't wait!!!
