Definitely a good value, and the taste was comparable to the norm.

The first time I visited the sheik restaurants was back in 1979. Throughout the years it had become a staple between my friends and family for the go-to place to get a good inexpensive meal and that delicious and ever so popular cherry limeade that has made them so famous throughout the years. I just moved back to Jacksonville within the last week and so far I have made four visits within that time. I simply can't get enough of those seasoned fries and that limeade!

Really good for fast food. They are reasonably priced and it's one if the best steak in a sacks I have eaten.

I love this location for customer service and great food. I've never had a bad experience here. The food has always been fresh. I have gone to this location for many years. It's always clean inside and out. I don't mind dining in.

The shiek in Callahan and on Atlantic Blvd is really good…food is hot and ready.
The chicken sandwich combo in Callahan is the best however sometimes the chicken sandwich is the size of a chicken finger. 😬

The Burger is like a whopper from Burger King, but better. I recommend it. You can get seasoning on your fries which is nice. Speaking of fries, there's only one size (small). The Steak in a sack is really good. I also like the grilled chicken pita. The camel rider is good, but they put a lot of mayo on it. Also, don't come to the drive thru if you want a fast experience.Actually, most of the places downtown have a slow drive thru.I didn't live in the 70's, but it reminds me of places on old shows from that time. 🙂 It kind of looks like another local place called Lubi's (which I also recommend). So, all in all, I recommend it.

My Mother has been coming here since she was a girl. I had the pleasure of trying it out recently and it was great. We went through the drive thru and purchased steak in a sack which was amazing. Not to mention the man working there was so kind and made the best for I have tasted! Will definitely visit here again!

Steak in a Sack, Cherry Limeade. Perhaps the most DUUUVAL meal you can eat. Prices have gone up, but that's true everywhere. (especially with steak). I paid $6.99 for the Steak in a Sack and $2.39 for the Cherry Lime. It ended up being about $10, which is definitely more than I would normally spend at a fast food place. With that being said, the Steak in a Sack is incredible and still about half the price of the one at Pinegrove Market & Deli (another amazing place)
Support DUUUVAL, help build our food culture, support the SHEIK!

Located on Main Street across the street from Burger King. I want to tell you right now that this is not the snazziest, most upscale location of the Sheik. They have a drive-thru and sit down dining, with table dining down one side. I give it five stars because of the quality of the food and the prices. And the staff was really friendly and engaging.
The Sheik just gives you a lot of really tasty food for the money spent. I'm sure a lot of people glance at it and just keep on driving, but I have introduced a lot of people to the Sheik and they all became customers.
