Applebee's

Good not great. Party of six around 2:30 on Sunday. Might have caught them between shifts, so our waitress was hustling before more wait staff showed up. Needed drinks filled sooner Food was prepared well. Caesar salads were soggy. A little stingy on the fries, waitress brought more after being asked and was friendly. All in all, a decent experience.

The place was really cold so we ate outside. Our server, Andrew, was really nice and was joking around with the table which was enjoyable. Our food came out relatively fast but the drinks were lack luster. My friend can't drink cold liquids easily or it hurts their stomach so they ordered a lemonade without ice and the drink only came halfway filled :C I wish it would say so on the menu but none of the drinks even had price tags next to them which was confusing and a bit disappointing. Thankfully, Andrew brought us water with them.

The service was excellent. We were especially impressed by the Young Marines. They were so adorable and attentive. Our server's name was Cody. He was very polite and we thought it was nice of him to allow the Young Marines to shadow him. The menu selections for the Veterans were great choices. We enjoyed our meals. The restaurant was very clean on top of the fact that the Young Marines were assisting to keep it that way. Overall, we were more than satisfied with our restaurant choice. When we are back in Jacksonville, Florida we will definitely consider this location for lunch or dinner.

The waitress was wonderful. It took a little while to be helped, but that was completely fine. It's been a while since I've gone to an Applebee's, it was a really nice experience. PSA: The four-cheese Mac and cheese with honey pepper chicken was REALLY sweet. A little bit too sweet for my taste, but if you like that kind of thing, then you go on ahead and get it.

They have a really good staff, the hostess was very inviting and the waitress was very informative of all the specials that they had going on that night. I end up getting the 2 for 1 drinks and one of their awesome whiskey bacon burger sandwiches. She was very informative of my order and advised me to get the mashed potatoes to go with.

While I highly enjoyed my food and the atmosphere was good, it took awhile for our waiter to notice us again. But the reason I gave 5 stars instead of 4 was that he was very informative and helped out with our decision. We just wanted some appetizers and was going to do a 3 appetizer deal to share but because it was half off after 10pm he let me know it would be better to get the regular appetizers so got the same price for more food. Used the appetizers as our dinner and loved it. Under 20 bucks too :) It was a win win and we will be returning if we are ever hungry past 10pm.
