This place is amazing. Prices are modest and reasonable, the place is always immaculate, quiet, and turning customers fast. The woman at the counter (presumably the owner) is sweet, and kind, and always so so delightful. I'm 30 now and have been coming here since I was a tweenager, and it's always been the same. In an ever-changing chaotic world we live in its always great to know that some people know how to maintain and run a successful business. 5/5 easy.
Circle Japan is the closest place I’ll ever get to Japan living back in Jacksonville. This place is a staple, I love love love coming here for my favorite Japanese snacks. It’s a small store, but the atmosphere is amazing and the customer service is always excellent as you are greeted as soon as you walk through the door. The owner is also the sweetest. The store does consist of drinks, and frozen foods as well. The prices are reasonable, as you are paying for imported items. It may be a little pricey compared to getting snacks here in the states, but they are worth every dollar. Definitely worth a visit for nostalgia!

This place is a gem. It’s cozy but has a great selection of amazing hard-to-get ingredients, fantastic frozen section and the best place for desserts and treats.
Ms. Tomoko is an absolute delight and really brightens up the place with her cheerful attitude.
Love their baked goods, the owner was so sweet to gift me a fruit from her backyard since there was a hurricane passing through. The prices for the imported goods are fair and I like their selection of beverages. Kids and adults alike. Come here for your dose of Japanese fun food and drinks.
Very cute store! The owner is nice and friendly and she also hand makes these tasty red bean buns. Great place to buy authentic Japanese foods. They also have a lot of cool things like used Japanese books for a dollar and lots of Japanese beauty products.
Circle Japan is one of Jacksonville's hidden gems. It is chock full of savory, sweet, and unique Japanese treats. Tomoko, the owner, is such a delightful lady. She is always in such a good mood, and you can tell she loves what she does and is proud of it. She has remembered us every time we have come in and always makes time for small talk, even when it's busy. There is even a small recreational area at the front of the store where children can play and watch anime while their parents shop. Everything is fresh and more than reasonably priced. She also sells cute little stickers, keychains, bento boxes, chopsticks, and other items that feature popular anime/Japanese characters. I always make sure to tell everyone I know about Circle Japan!
Such a cute store! The owner is very kind, sweet and friendly. Love everything about the store! There’s a lot to see and lots of varieties to buy! Definitely recommend it.
An amazing place to go to ❤️ The women I had check me out was so nice and she helped me get the right items. The store has frozen treats, sake, snacks, meal staples, stationery, beauty, and little gifts 🎁
