This is the spot! The dagwood is the sandwich to get! I enjoy stopping by grabbing breakfast and lunch when I'm in the area. The family is always pleasant and the food is always good. Go try them out. You can dine in, sit and dine or make use of their drive through.

Absolutely recommend the Steak in a Sack, here. We’re from Arlington and they closed the Stans on Beach near our house where I was getting steak in a sack for twenty years!! Finding this Edgewood shop has made up for that massive disappointment. I’ll drive the extra 20 minutes to visit again, 100%!
I always call my order in, or my husband and I will come up here to eat. We love this sandwich shop!! Call ahead during lunch rush and when you arrive your food should be ready.. The dagwoods are amazing... They are my absolute favorite sandwich from them.

Been going to Edgewood Sandwich shop for over 25 years. Always good food served quickly with a very friendly atmosphere. Family run business with same owner over 30 years. Great value for breakfast or lunch. Personal favorite is steak-n-sack and onion rings but all is good!

Great mom-n-pop restaurant. Known to almost all of the locals as the place to get good eats, without going broke. Very simple laid back breakfast and lunch only diner. Go for the cheeseburger, or my new favorite, the dagwood sandwich. Stop in and try them out, you are going to become a regular!
