Review Pizza Bella - Jacksonville

Overall great little pizza shop! We love trying new pizza places and sought one out as we were in the area on another mission around dinnertime on a Monday. There were like five different pizza places near where we were but decided on this one as the name sounded tasty & homemade. Food: we tried a 14” meat lovers with added mushrooms (our teens request), a 10” Hawaiian, our youngest had a plate of spaghetti sans meatballs, and an order of garlic knots. Everything was delicious! Our picky 9 year old loved the spaghetti. The pizzas were a little greasy for my own tastes but still good flavors, and I like more garlicky flavor to my knots but these were clearly fresh and made up the difference. Drinks-wise, they only offer canned/bottled drinks (2-liters as well if you’re maybe in the mood for your to-go order). This is nice in that you just pick your own drink out of the cooler (Pepsi, Dr Pepper, Mountain Dew, Powerade, water, Minute Maid juice boxes) but it does also mean no refills on drinks. Service: friendly staff! They gave us a heads up that we’d probably want to push some tables together as the tables are small. Atmosphere: it is a *small* pizza shop with a handful of small square tables inside. It is seat yourself and order at the counter (I think). The tables again, are small like the shop so if you’re ordering more than a single pizza you may need another table. But if it’s busy, you may not have that option. Looks to be a great little neighborhood pizza shop! Would certainly make a great to-go/pickup spot, but maybe not so great for dine-in if busy though. Worth the stop :) We spent right around $60 I think for the two pizzas, spaghetti, knots, and four drinks.

I started with the garlic knots and they came out hot and fresh and were amazing! Also got a meat lovers pizza and it was soooo good! The owner is really nice and friendly and makes sure everything is how you want. Definitely recommend eating here!

I have nothing but good things to say about Pizza Bella. First, when you walk in you’re over taken by the smell of fresh pizza being made. It truly brought me back to the times I’ve visited Italy which was a wonderful sign that I came to the right place. I’ve been searching for a place that has the right consistency of dough that I had over there and this place nailed it. Second, the garlic knots. You could taste the yeast in the dough. And the marinara sauce that came with it was fire. Also the entire building was immaculate. Clean floors, tables, and bathrooms. Overall this has easily became our favorite pizza place. We can’t wait to order again.

My husband and I just tried this pizza place. The owner was amazing and very friendly. Pizza was awesome! We love the crust. You gotta try their garlic knots, delicious! We will definitely be going back for more pizza!

Ordered takeout, both service and food were excellent. We called our order in and they were willing to do any special requests on our pizza and two pasta orders. We will definitely be visiting again soon!

Honestly one of the best pizzas i have had in Jacksonville! And the staff there are so friendly and polite. I cant wait to go there again. Amazing experience! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I recently tried this pizza shop and it was amazing! The staff were friendly and helped me choose the perfect pizza. The pizza was fresh and delicious with crispy crust, flavorful sauce, and generous toppings. The attention to detail was impressive, and it was clear that every pizza was made with care. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a fantastic meal.

It was so delicious! I had the meatball sub which seemed to have homemade meatballs in it. Perfectly toasted soft warm bread and covered it mealted mozzarella. 10/10 my pops got the pizza lunch special 2 slices of cheese and a coke for $6.49 which I tried and the crust is amazing as is the cheese and sauce! 10/0

Love pizza Bella. They have best calzones. The pizzas are always amazing. Tonight placed an order and when I went to pick up my order there was a very un happy customer. Said his pizza looked unacceptable. The guys working handled the situation perfect and gave great customer service. After the customer left. I checked to see what could be so bad to not want a pizza from bellas. To my surprise the pizza looked as amazing as every other pizza I have ever gotten from them. When I had mention that he had handles the situation perfect and not to let him get bothered by it that ,you cant make everyone happy. He then offered me the rejected pizza. He didnt want it to go to waste. I gladly accepted the pizza. and let me tell you that customer missed out on an amazing pizza. Thank you the the staff working tonight you are very professional and polite and gave great customer service. I will continue to order pizza Bellas I have done for several years.

Love the ambience of the place not to mention great pizza at a reasonable price check them out. Ask for there garlic knots and Hawaiian pizza.

This pizzeria is under new ownership for a few weeks now. I wanted to try it and I am so very happy with the food here!! The owner is extremely nice and the staff very attentive. I’m from jersey so I’m very particular about my pizza and I have to say I will order from here from now on. I asked the owner if he could make me a special pie with clams n garlic. It wasn’t on his menu but he went out of his way to get the clams for me and his pizza guy made a fab clam pie for me. I am very impressed. Will be returning!!!

Definitely Satisfied. Decided I wanted pizza for lunch and had it delivered to my work. Ordered a medium 1 topping (pepperoni) pizza ($10.70) and it was good. Being a New Jersey native, I am one tough critic when it comes to pizza. They consider theirs "New York Style" and it didn't dissapoint. The crust is really flaky, which I found to be interesting. But, if you want non-chain pizza that's good, and easy on your wallet, this place is nice.

Friday Night Tradition. This place is just plain amazing and consistent in quality and taste. We moved to Jacksonville and the previous owners of our home were kind enough to leave us a binder of their favorite restaurants with menus in order for us to get to know the area. On the night of closing, the only item that was left in the house was this binder. In typical new home fashion, we decided to do the whole "pizza on the floor of our new house" thing. Apparently Pizza Bella was their Friday night tradition. We reviewed the menu to find real italian classics like spinach and ricotta pizza. We placed our order of pizza and garlic knots. The food came just in the time they specified (and always has since) and we were blown away. The garlic knots were 1.99 for 12 of them. The pizza is extremely affordable, and if you ask to hear specials you might even be more pleased! This is clearly family owned and their service certainly attests to it. We are not delivery pizza people- but we have adopted this tradition and Pizza Bella is what we order whenever we have out of town company and want a lazy night in. I have made various friends fans of this place- and I will continue to spread the word!

Huge Calzone!!. Tried this place for the first time yesterday, Ordered the SMALL veggie calzone, & it was huge. Ate about 1/2 of it and my hubby was glad to eat the rest last night. It was delicious! Can't wait to go back & try something else.

Great pizza. I ordered a large pizza to go New York style it was priced well and prepared fast it was very good Hot and Fresh when I arrived home with it I will sotp in again to order food I look forward to ordering something else from the menu to try..

Wonderful!. Pizza Bella provided a wonderful experience when I ate there with my family. The staff is wonderful and helpful. The food is even better. I've never eaten anything like it. I've gone back countless times after my first visit and I've near tried everything on the menu. Calzones are so delicious. Prices are very reasonable. Check it out!

Best NY Style Pizza in Town. Been getting pizzas from these guys for years. By far the best NY style pizza in the city! Also, they make some pretty darn good sandwiches worth biting into. Great food at a great value.

Authentic. Here we have a truly neighborhood pizzaria serving excellent food.<br/><br/>The pizza is great, calzone perfect and the antipasta fresh.<br/><br/>All that is missing is the red and white table-clothes and the tossing of the pies.

Pizzabella. The most AMAZING pizza ,strombolli ,calzones ,dinners, specialty dinners, I love this restaurant.

AMAZING!!. This place is absolutely amazing. This is the only place I order pizza from. It is a family ran place and they are super friendly. I have been addicted to there pizza for 3 years and counting.
