Our server was very very nice and we were offered complementary sushi roll to try out. I loved it! I think the atmosphere was amazing and our setting was relatively comfortable. I had several back spasms earlier that day so I wasn't sure, but I would say that it was super super comfortable and went beyond my expectations.
The food was cooked very well and was tastey. You definitely will be full but not broke when you leave! Great setting for singles , couples, and whole families!

My hubby and I went to Sushi Bear for the first time last night for our anniversary and it was such a great experience! Everyone was so nice and attentive. Our server brought over edamame and said it was on the house. It was our first time trying edamame and now it’s going to be a must order. Someone else brought us clear soup and a small roll to try for free. We were like woah this is so nice of them! We got a sushi boat and it was delicious 🤤 My husband got Kirin beer and I tried the cold Coconut Lemongrass sake and oh my… so good. We also got the tempura ice cream and it was yummy. This is going to be our new date spot. The service alone was so amazing. I highly recommend trying it.

We went here after church. There was a group of about 10 of us, including children. It was the first time my daughter and I had been there. We were able to be seated as soon as we arrived. The table that we sat at gave us the availability to watch the football game on the televisions hanging over the serving area. Right away, our drink orders were taken. Once we received our drinks, soup was served. While we enjoyed our soup, we placed our sushi orders. I ordered the spicy crab roll. Pretty much everyone ordered sushi. Next, they took our food orders. My daughter and I ordered the steak and chicken with fried rice instead of noodles. The food is served in large portions. We also had a salad with either ginger or ranch dressing ( my daughter and I had ginger). Our drinks were refilled before they were completely empty. We received complimentary peas that were served with a hint of salt, steamed. They were steaming hot and delicious. We received those while waiting for our food. We also received a complimentary dessert. It was so good. I love chocolate, and it tasted like coffee. The sushi is delicious. We had a large boat for the sushi everyone ordered. It was a wooden boat, it was really cute.There were multiple servers that all made sure we were well taken care of. They filled every request (forks, special chop sticks, and such). It was a beautiful experience! I really enjoyed myself. I highly recommend stopping by!

Just discovered this gem. The food is quite good, especially for the super affordable lunch menu. So good that I went 2 days in a row. Had the two-roll for $10.95, which included soup and salad + a plus add of a free 4-piece sushi roll. Service was very good, and fast. Highly recommend.

Sushi Bear is my favorite sushi place in the local area (someone message me if you find better!). Last visit, we ordered so much that we got a lovely boat. The mango roll with the tuna is so good. I also love the sweetheart roll. I always order a side of the hibachi vegetables, fried rice, and salad. The soup is complimentary as is the appetizer fried krab roll. Their tuna is always top notch. I also get the ginger salad a lot, but I didn't get it this time.
The service is here is always very reliable. It's like a huge team effort, and I have never experienced bad service at Sushi Bear.

This is by far the best sushi in Jacksonville. Always serve fresh food and have consistently great customer service. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Never have to ask for refills or napkins. Also a very clean restaurant and a great place to celebrate a birthday! I will always recommend this place to anyone, they always make you feel special!

Our trips into Jacksonville usually find us eating lunch at Sushi Bear! Fantastic food and service! They go above and beyond. I'm partial to the hibachi. Always fresh and delicious! And the complimentary holiday roll appetizer is so good! By far my favorite Japanese place!

We travel from Glen St Mary to this place. The staff always recognizes us and graciously greets us. The sushimi is superb as well as everything else we order. Love the on the house things for us to try. Got us hooked on holiday rolls by doing this. They customize our orders perfectly!

Took my family there last night, everything was great. Staff is very friendly. Received sushi, edamame and dessert for free. Our meal was delicious. Only thing is I placed an order for Philadelphia roll with soy paper and got the regular Philadelphia roll instead :( Didn't bother to look in the bag until we got home. Other than that it was a good night.
