Single-origin coffees are those that are not blended & come from a specific growing region or area. Though coffees might share similar characteristics, even the slightest difference in growing altitude, climate, harvesting or processing conditions can account for flavor differences. For the purist, single-origin coffees reveal the essence of what is unique to that particular growing area.
Honduras Marcala Comsa
Our small-batch, artisanal approach to roasting brings out our honduras marcala’s smooth, milk chocolate body w/ hints of lemon & fig.
Colombia Valle Del Cauca
Perfect weather, the right altitude, family dedication & hard work are the ingredients for producing a coffee that exhibits sweet cherry flavor w/ dark chocolate & spice notes, good balance & sweet, nutty aroma.
Ethiopia Sidamo Nura Korate
Our ethiopia sidamo nura korate displays delicate peach, berry & floral notes backed up by a creamy body & a sweet milk chocolate roundness. A uniquely complex yet well-balanced coffee.
Bali Blue Moon
Bali blue moon is a beautifully spicy & complex coffee offering notes of dark chocolate, vanilla & root beer while a clean earthiness hints at fresh herbs.
Organic Blends
Just like fine wines, every coffee has one or more unique characteristics that distinguish it from other coffees. Roasters recognize these different characteristics in their beans, & adjust the times & temperatures of their roasts to bring out the best qualities of each type of bean. Though most coffees can stand on their own, the blending of two or more types of beans, or the same bean at different stages of roast, allows roasters to create distinctive, custom-crafted coffees worthy of signature stature.
Sweetspot Espresso
Every roaster needs a signature espresso blend & this is ours. Elegantly spicy & sweet w/ enough floral brightness to keep things interesting. Sweetspot gives us great shots all day everyday & holds it's own as a straight espresso & in milk based drinks just the same. Also great as brewed coffee. Whatever your method of proper brewing, you'll be sure to have a great cup.
Moka Java
Traditionally a blend of coffee originating in yemen & java, moka java is considered the world's oldest coffee blend. Modern versions of this blend, however, rarely follow the original recipe, w/ many speciality roasters substituting better indonesian coffees for java & outstanding ethiopian coffees for yemen moka.
Winslow's Blend
Our original blend. Complex yet smooth & well rounded w/ notes of cocoa, dried fruit & spice. A blend of indonesia & latin american coffees. A great all day, every day coffee.
Dark & Stormy
Our dark roast offering for those who prefer the robust taste of the roast over the subtle nuances of the bean. We use a high-grown central american coffee for this offering. The dense nature of high-grown coffee allows it to stand up to the high heat & intense roasting style of a dark roast. Look for a full body & a roasty spiciness w/ notes of dark chocolate, vanilla & malt.
Stockton Street Blend
A blend of latin american & african coffees. As our house blend, stockton street needs to be a coffee that represents all that we love about the bean while staying well rounded enough to appeal to most everyone.
